After much deliberation, I have decided to share this song with you. 

I wrote it after I didn't like myself because I had started to shift the focus that was important in my music making. It's not about whether something is good or bad, it's about evoking emotions and feelings or delivering a message. If you don't have the right feeling in, you will never catch other people's feelings. 

When you listen to a song, it's never about whether it's good or bad, but only about whether you can arouse other people's emotions. Desire to dance is one feeling, flying away to a paradise is another. The one who once upon a time taught me all the right values in life ​​was my dear mother, her favorite flower was lily of the valley. Thank you little dear mother.

I love hearing if I did catch a feeling or what you liked or disliked about it, rather than that you just liked it or not.

I have loved this track SO much ever since I came into contact with it when it was released, if I'm not misstaking was it around 2008-2009. I have always been following Magnus Birgerssons (Solar Fields) work and this track was also among his tracks on the same soundtrack album for the game Mirrors Edge as the main theme.

This remix first started out as a personal fan project over a month ago just for fun and envolved into to this remix. I just wanted to do the track for myself but with my soundscape and a more syntherzied feeling without breaking the core feeling in the track. My friends inspired me to open it, but I strived to do it the good way by contacting the artist first for approval.

I've been sitting on this to long now only sharing it with my closest friends, waiting on that approval to release it. No respons yet after more then 5 weeks. So rather then just sitting on this gem I decided to open it.

This is the  track I first got noticed with here on SoundCloud. I made this track during a time in my life where I had to make a difficult decision.

Back then I had just started exploring my DAW and my skills where very limited. I have so many times wanted to go back and do something about the sound. Not change anything but make it more clear ... I had some time over today meanwhile waiting on someone to get back to me on a new remix I have been working on latly. I opened this for me very nostalgic dear track in my DAW started doing some changes, but then it slowly started to become something else and loose all its charm. It just needed a better end mastering. Even though alot of things can have been made better it has all the charm I ever could wish for. So I settled to just remaster it. Was considering a hotfix to the original upload...but then wouldnt people notice this great track. Enjoy.

Yesterday morning I went for a walk with my dog Lia on a small path in the forest to a small village in the Umeå archipelago. It had been -5 degress all night so the grass was covered by rime frost and the differances of tempetures from the ground and air created small fog banks that made an incredible nice texture. I recorded some small parts of the long walk and decided to make a track of it.

Time is of the essence

When I was trying to get some sleep last night. I got this melody in my head. It drove me crazy as I know I have made something with it a very long time ago. Might have been something I jammed during a live session on the club Anemon or something else, maybe @pax_h remember where it's from? Anyhow I had to go up and open my DAW and document it. Build around   the melody this morning.

I wrote this song the same day I got the news from my daughter that she was pregnant and I was going to be a grandfather for the first time in my life (22 weeks ago). It's been resting until now waiting for the perfect lyrics come to me, fine tuning the mix and soundscape. My great old friend @pax_h requested me to do an instrumental version of what I personally think is my greatest track I made so far. Removing the vocals left a gap, so .... had to add more melody to it.

Silent Eclipse

When I was out with my dog yesterday I got this melody stuck in my head ...when I got home it was still tormenting me. It's simple childish melody but I had to get it out my head so I could find peace once and for all.

So I made build around the melody into this track to release it from my mind. 

But I was strongly going to keep this track private because it is not as elaborate and ambitious as my other works. Rae and Pax convinced me to open it as music-making is, after all, mostly about sharing one's feelings and this was the feeling I got when I was out with my Lia.
