Back in Autumn 1994 i stayed with my sisters in London whilst i did some work experience at one of their businesses. I remember tuning into the Kiss FM jungle show (Jumping Jack Frost) one evening and in their flat i also found some old tapes that belonged to one of my sisters boyfriends who i believe was involved in running Sunday Roast. There were a couple of Touchdown FM tapes from 1992/1993 which unfortunately became unplayable before i could get them ripped years later and this private mixtape from DJ Dezire and Andrew. No idea who these DJ's were and can only assume they were friends of the Sunday Roast guy. Both sides are super tight and packed full of big tunes and more under the radar stuff.

This one is pretty old school, like 1991 old school.  Not the type of music you'd expect from the names.  This is what Underground Dance Music sounded like when I first got into it around 1990/ 1991.  Listening to this today, it sounds very different than it did in 1990.  Back then it was cutting edge, new, fresh music that changed the music industry forever, all the way up to the artists setting the trends of today.  You can hear in some of the music that's coming out and charting now have some of the same synth/ drum elements from this era.  Music coming full circle.  Thanks Dan.  Dieselboy starts @ 43:42
