This is A N K A's first release on phuture, and we're glad to have them on board. We tried to pinpoint A N K A's style into a genre... and spent too long trying to find a word, so we wrote this long sentence instead. To attempt to put logic behind their sound, and transfer that logic into words, we interviewed A N K A, which can be found below!

Question: How do you make money if you do?

Answer: I work in retail, purely because I enjoy fashion and I love talking to people. So, to be able to converse the whole day is actually pretty fun. I mean, you discover some interesting characters haha but you also meet some incredibly talented people. So a job like that with dope gears to sell and having some Phuture Collective music playing in store is AWESOME

created in late 2018 on a ranch in tx. i love making electronicy beets but i really really love clavinets. they are just iconic wonk machines and this was one of the first times i actually understood the power of the clav

anyways this track has been continually worked on n tinkered with since i made it.. so i wouldn't consider it an "old" song of mine that i'm just tossing up here out of boredom. It's evolved n changed so much and i have like 30 versions so I'd say it's more accurate to say it's been in the works for over a year.
