Interview:

How would you describe your sound?

☸ Alien love music ☸

What sets you apart in the age of digital music?

☸ I tend to focus on the musicality and the sonic landscape I am creating. I like to take my listeners on a ride and leave a lasting impression ☸

Can you give us some background on your musical career?

☸ I've been playing music since I was a very small child, starting with drums at 7, I moved to various band instruments in elementary school (clarinet, bass clarinet, cello, violin, viola) picked up guitar at 13 and piano at 16. I played in several bands of all different styles in Nashville for a while and then a friend introduced me to Ableton. I was fascinated instantly. I've been playing shows and making music ever since ☸

Can you recall a specific memory you have that captures your musical passion?

☸ I actually just got home from playing Nebfest in Tennessee. I played one of the most amazing sets to the most beautiful crowd I've ever had the joy of performing for. I had a fire troupe performing on stage with me and after playing my set, the dj duo who was supposed to play after me was "too drunk to play their set" and the crowd demanded an encore, so I played for another hour and a half until the sun came up ☸

What projects would you like to take on next, and why?

☸ I'm putting together the flourish family circus. live band. performers. lights. fire. smoke. drugs. aliens. lions tigers and beeeeeers oh my ☸

If music were a fruit salad, what combination of "fruit" would your "salad" have?

☸ Chicken and beer ☸

If you were a music director for an action film, what track would you choose to introduce a fight scene?

☸ Necrophagist­ stabwound ☸

In one sentence, explain what music is to someone that has never heard it before.

☸ Music is the only way we have to understand and connect to what's ACTUALLY happening in our universe and between each other, music is life ☸

If you could pick one sentence/phrase to be associated with you in history, what would it be?

☸ Forward ever, Backward never. Peace and Love my brothers and sisters ☸
