Phyla Digital is proud to present the highly anticipated collaborative EP from Buffalo's Mark Kloud and Toronto's Iyer.

The title track, 'Constant Conflict', is a journey into the furthest depths of the possibilities explored by cross pollinating the frenetic energy of footwork music into the minimal dystopian style of drum and bass.  'Desolate Area' slows things down to create a glitchy percussion driven  workout. 

The producers then go separate ways, as Iyer teams up with fellow partner in crime TdotBEAR for the simple intricacies dealt with in 'Soundbwoy'. Mark Kloud counters with 'Stroma', paying incredible attention to detail in his trademark style.

Phyla Digital is proud to present Outrage Of Modesty from the pioneers of Geylang Crunk, O$P$. Singapore's very own ghetto heroes come through with 2 originals showcasing the darker and more sinister sounds from the lesser known areas of the city. 

While the United Nations had a special committee meeting about the existence of O$P$, remixers in support of their noble work joined the project in an effort to further spread the word. This release is testament to the diversity of the all encompassing Geylang Crunk sound and it sets the stage for a style of music that will exist for years to come.

Phyla Digital is proud to present a great selection of eclectic music from Austin, Texas based bass music legend, DJ and producer, Chango.

We kick off with title track 'Push', a frenetic jungle, dubstep and drum and bass influenced industrial workout. 

Following this is Somejerk's equally eclectic remix of 'Push', drawing from the original but largely incorporating his own influences as a breakbeat infused extravaganza.

'Indepth' is a moody half time roller with equal parts growling midrange and swirling vocal samples abound. 

Last but not least, 'Hypah'. A downpitched vocal creepily accentuates this rowdy dancefloor heater, rounding off this release in a style only Chango is capable of.

Phyla Digital is proud to bring to you one of the biggest releases we've put together to date.

Presenting the Dubsmash EP from all-round drum and bass legend, Kiat. 

A leg injury in early 2016 forced Kiat's hand into making music to clear his headspace and rid himself of the anxiety and frustration from cabin fever.

The results of those cathartic sessions are the four tracks in this release.

'Katong' switches things up with a gritty halftime rhythm. The dub influence is retained with swirling  vocals deftly scattered throughout as sinister pads weave in and out of the sequence.

'Liberation' returns to what Kiat is best known for - no nonsense drum and bass.

'Dubsmash' is a collaboration with fellow Singaporean producer Diphasic. Heavily dub influenced, intricate percussion and a rumbling bass keep the tension rising from start to finish. 

This is accompanied by a breakbeat infused remix of 'Katong' from Diphasic to round off a sensational decade for Kiat.

From hallmark drum and bass labels like Metalheadz, Hospital, SoulR, Function and Dispatch to his own ventures with Qilin and Syndicate, amongst other multifaceted projects, Kiat is the hallmark of a visionary.

Best of all, he's Singaporean - just like us.

The trio plays with the idea of live music-making and the electronic-acoustic divide. KAIN's production prowess is matched and complemented by jandaL and Anomy's instrumental finesse on the bass and drums respectively. The music could go in any direction at any time, and yet does not. Looking to organically fuse their sound into a breathing, dancing machine, the collective sound of the trio heavily references genres such as breakbeat, dub, jungle, and jazz while at the same time refusing to be categorised. We hope you enjoy the juicy fruits of their labour.
