In 1983, Phy-Tur Records was created originally as the engineering division of Barrett Bros. Entertainment in Chicago.  Seventeen years later (2000), Phy-Tur Records was given new life in Texas by its founder and creator Larry Barrett he established the name, image, and roster of the company and put out its first compilation CD which played on 172 radio stations across the United States.  The product was being distributed by Southwest Distributors which had won the National Distributor Award of the Year in 2000.  Recognizing the need for more stability and control of the operations, in October 2003, the LLC was formed.  In 2005, the 5 song CD, "A Precious Gift" was released.  The second release Watch and Pray was released in 2020
