Mathys Lenne embarked on a remarkable journey with the release of his debut album titled "Katua" for Float Records. Comprising of 14 captivating tracks, each one was crafted during an intense period of Mathys' life when he was facing personal challenges.

During this time, Mathys found solace in his music, using it to express and transform his deepest emotions. Although he admitted that he wasn't at his best, he channeled his struggles and vulnerabilities into his compositions, creating a collection of songs that were raw, honest, and impactful. The album was written in precisely 14 days, completing one track per day.

The title "Katua" held profound significance for him. It represented the process of grieving and the courage to persevere through challenging times. With every note and rhythm, Mathys aimed to convey the depth of human emotions, drawing the listener into his personal narrative of growth and resilience.

With its universal appeal, the album resonated with both club enthusiasts and introspective music lovers. It is not only to provide an experience but also serves as a testament to the power of music to heal and inspire.

Known for his monstrous tracks for Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Cari Lekebusch’s H-Productions, Developer’s Modularz and Dutch stable Planet Rhythm, he always puts together punchy works.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “Fear” with a complex concoction in its analogue makeup. A powerful, energetic and mechanical aesthetic has cyclical chopping sounds that provide the main underlying propulsion, while huge percussive cracks are met with shooting modular tones to add an interesting dystopian angle.

Francesco Faienza, also known as Facio, is a young DJ and producer from southern Italy. His musical journey began with a strong foundation in underground hip-hop and trap, leading him to produce beats for local artists.  

After moving to Milan, Facio rediscovered his passion for electronic music, particularly techno, through the vibrant underground scene, attending parties like Closer, Ameliatronic, Acquario, and Immersioni.  

In September 2024, he debuted with an EP on the Spanish label **DZB Records**, featuring three tracks defined by deep grooves, hypnotic synths, and tribal percussion.  

Facio's sets are a captivating blend of hypnotic, dancefloor-focused tracks, heavily influenced by Berlin's electronic music culture.

Orbiting back to his own imprint for From Another Star’s sixth release, label head Allen returns with his second mini-album, System Collapse, an eight-track voyage to new destinations in the cosmos. More mysterious than its predecessor, it begins in ‘Empty Space’, one of several mood pieces whose desolate content fits with its title. ‘The Search for Exo Planets’ turns on the thrusters to slowly reach hyperspeed, with waves of pads washing over the percussion in flybys. Searching for signs of life, ‘Detection Device’ juxtaposes patterned bleeps with drifting, garbled synth transmissions, combining these elements with the steady rhythmic pulse as it maintains the mission. ‘Signature Unknown’ examines intercepted signals, attempting differentiation from background radiation. With echoing returns and rotating drums, ‘Phenomenon’ begins the next phase, circling an unknown object for closer examination. The brief, truncated ‘System Collapse’ and ‘No Return’ both suggest plans gone awry as dark undertones take over and rhythms disintegrate. ‘Phoenix’ finds the mission reborn and steadily gaining momentum once again, the slicing claps and driving toms powering onwards over pulsing bells to overcome alien interference.
