Presenting a live improvised performance from the Argentinian producer and multi-instrumental live looper, Janax Pacha. Spearheaded by Gabriel Epstein, the Janax Pacha project sits at the crossroads of acoustic and electronic expression, utilising instruments such as Native flutes, kalimbas, didgeridoo, percussion, and effect racks. The resulting tribal downtempo sound is inspired as much from dub and ambient music, as it is by ancestral indigenous music of Latin America, building layers upon layers of sound, and compounding numerous centuries of culture into one experience.

Return of the Light // Downtempo/dance cacao journey

A sacred sound artist and a keen experimentalist, Mona was diagnosed with incurable cancer in April 2021 and was given a maximum of 6 months to live. The news of this diagnosis greatly stirred producer, composer, Papa Loko and Conscious Expansion founder @othonmusic who had experienced his first sound bath, some years earlier, conducted by Mona; an experience that was to stay with him, guide him and inspire him to this day.

Gentle, melancholy, deeply touching and paradoxically hopeful Mona reflects Othon's feelings towards his friend but, to some level also, Mona's spirit. For the artist, Mona's recent life experience was no more than one episode in the vast cosmic series of continuous soul evolution. Viewed in this way, death is painful and meaningful at the same time, perhaps even necessary for one's own spiritual development.

Since 2006 Zeemo has been creating oneiric Dj sets, guided by instinct and passion through his beloved record collection. His sound can be imagined as a rhythmic wave of house, nu-disco, downtempo, techno and breakbeat.
