Herbstlaub - Tijd als beloven / Du nahmst ganz einfach meine Hand (FDL#05, 2016)

This EP was recorded around a documentary film "Papa Hédi", that looks at the life and legacy of celebrated Tunisian musician Hédi Jouini. 
We started writing the score in the summer of 2011 as specific cues for the film and using short samples from Hédi's music. 
In the autumn we decided to develop the cues to make full tracks and the results are on this record.

Two By Four is Piano Interrupted first full length record, compiling the work of three years of collaboration between laptop / electronician Franz Kirmann and pianist and composer Tom Hodge.

Piano Interrupted is the brain child of Tom Hodge and Franz Kirmann. The project blends their respective disciplines of film composition and piano on the one hand and organic electronica on the other.
Piano Interrupted play regularly as a live quartet with Eric Young on percussion and Greg Hall on cello.
