Maya Verlaak: Evidence-based

Piano+ is a concert series in Brooklyn, New York curated and organized by composer and pianist Teodora Stepančić. Piano+ concerts invite composers, performers and audiences into intimate listening experiences, spaces for sharing sounds, ideas and music for open minds and ears. It promotes diversity, inclusiveness and a community based approach to music making and organization, and showcases works that speak in the voice of the outsider, a hushed voice that does not try to draw attention to itself, that stresses generosity, intimacy, attentiveness and spirit.
