Combination of Classical / Hip Hop / House / Orchestral Music strung together to produce an ominous / haunting concerto about the progression of evil in every situation. 

The concerto starts off faint, ominous and slowly builds intensity / leads to the harpsichord / violins and shakers all battling against each other, building tension with moments of brief release, the tension escalates again quickly as  the hip hop beat comes in again and all the instruments come together competing for a chance to stand out and be heard / mocking each other. With the introduction of the wavering violins and violas / fast tempo the tension escalates and the dreary atmosphere raises to a state of panic and chaos as if some kind of satanic ritual is being performed. 

The concerto is open for interpretation but I composed the instrumentation, melody and sound effects with the idea of creating a progression that represents the growth and evolution of evil starting from depression, isolation and ending in chaos, angst and mania.

Lucifers Progression

I decided to release this short track a month before Memorial Day 2014 which is on May 26th this year.  I tried to capture that perfect beach day with all the familiar sounds we look for when we go to this naturally relaxing and trouble free environment. A Day At The Beach

Hey everyone! thanks for checking out my cover of Adagio in D minor. This is a well known piece by John Murphy used in the 2007 film Sunshine as well as in numerous trailers including a recent trailer for X Men Days of Future Past. I've always loved this piece its simple yet highly profound and moving. To put my own twist on it i sped up the original tempo and created a rock version out of it by arranging several instruments including: 
2 foundation drums 
1 steel drum 
3 different piano layers 
2 twelve string acoustic guitars 
2 electric guitars 
An acoustic and electric base 
As well as distorted samples of my own voice to mimic an all boys chamber ensemble.

So my sister: Stavroula Plokamakis and I are big fans of this song and we decided to cover it ourselves. I slightly edited the backdrop instrumental from the original track to bring out the base and drums more. In addition, I wrote my own rap to go along with the theme of this song and harmonized my voice on multiple tracks to create a chorus kind of sound for my verses and choruses (my own unique take on the song!).

Game Of Thrones Is Arguably One Of The Best Television Series On Television Not Only For Its Cinematic Quality And Superb Acting But For The Music That Helps Transform Us Into This Incredible Fantasy World George R R Martin And The Writers / Directors Have Created. 

Like Many Others, I Can't Get Enough Of The Intro Theme Song For Game Of Thrones So I Decided To Cover It Myself Adding A Little Bit Of My Own Improvisations As Well As Changing Some Of The Instruments 

I Have Also Sped Up The Tempo To 140 BPM To Change Things Up A Bit

Let Her Go Cover: Passenger: Paul Plokamakis

This track is about a boxer who struggles with the fear, anxiety and shortcomings that keep him from reaching his goal of being a heavy weight champion. He is almost at the brink of giving up and he argues with himself to remain calm focused and to never give up, ending each verse with his objective: "I Will Fight." 

The story progresses and he is in the ring with his opponent. He concentrates and tries to move like Muhammed Ali but ends up getting knocked down to the ground. Even still he fights his fears and short comings and continues fighting. 

As the second round begins he assumes greater confidence his fear has subsided and he ends up finding the right moment to knock out his opponent and win the match. 

Beyond boxing, this story symbolizes a struggle many of us face in our daily lives. Where we know what we want and we work hard to obtain it but still fall short. This song is about patience, determination, persistence and through it all seeing our goals come to fruition.

Hey everyone! so i know it has been a while since i have posted a track I've been super busy! :( in any case i was listening to some old recordings i made a while back and just finished fine tuning my own cover and interpretation of "What Child Is This?" 

I know the holidays have passed and i am little late on this but this  song is more than just a christmas song its deeply spiritual and a pleasure to listen too all year round. Personally, I happen to think it is the most beautiful and meaningful song that we hear around the holidays. 

In any case here is my own interpretation / cover of "What Child Is This?"

The track itself is composed to fit a movie trailer format for the rise of a super hero as he discovers his abilities and protects / watches over the innocent while fighting crime. 

I titled this track "with great power comes great responsibility" from the spider man franchise because i think it really captures the motto that all super heroes and heroes in general need to acknowledge.

"Hallelujah" By Leonard Cohen Cover: Paul Plokamakis

Hey everyone this track took me literally forever to make and I still may change things and re-release it that being said everything in this song was purely original and is based off a script i wrote: 

The story is that there are two brothers of english and scotish descent named Peter and Samuel. They are in a rock band together and it is Samuel's first show in front of a large audience. To calm Samuel's nerves Peter gives him some cocaine to get him hyped up and ready to play. Trusting his brother he takes it without really considering the consequences to his actions and they begin the concert as the audience cheers for them ... we fast forward to a mandatory psychiatric evaluation: Samuel died during the concert from a cocaine overdose / heart attack and Peter expresses his anger to the Dr.  --> Dr. Plokamakis (my last name) The Dr. suggests in order to help him deal with his anger and anxiety that he needed Peter to take him back to that night and explain to him what happened. At first Peter is resistant saying he can't that it is too painful but then we transition back to that night of the concert. 

The transition takes us to the second half of the concert when they go back on stage Samuel does some more cocaine thinking his initial dose has worn off and as they begin to play he tells Peter he is not feeling well. Peter tells him to snap out of it thinking he was fine and that its not a big deal. Suddenly, Samuel collapses and a woman in the audience / the crowd screams realizing he collapsed and is unconscious. Peter in disbelief tries to wake him up and realizes something wrong. Peter calls for a doctor who does some basic tests and realizes he needs to be rushed to the emergency room. Once rushed to the emergency room the doctors attempt to save his life but are unsuccessful.  
The doctor in charge goes outside and tells Peter who cant comprehend that the doctor is telling him his brother has passed away and slowly he accepts it and breaks down. 

We then transition back to the meeting with the psychiatrist and now we see that Peter's anger has turned to grief and he slowly asks for forgiveness as he tries to explain that he doesnt know what is best for his brother or himself. 

The prevailing theme throughout this song is that sometimes we do things without thinking of the consequences thinking we know whats best but really it is only through disasters such as the one peter experienced that we realize how little thought we actually put into major decisions and better yet we realize that our own pride can often get in the way of making sound decisions as well as affect the people we love the most.
