A rudimentary and relatively haphazard attempt to emulate the sound of Steve Reich, using methods I've used in various other songs to a smaller degree. Not much was done in the way of mastering/mixing, but it ended up sounding nice enough anyway somehow. 

While I've definitely toyed with these ideas elsewhere before, I haven't done anything even close to this genre of music before, so it was a fun experience.

Originally intended to make a short animation to go along with this, but, because it was my first attempt at that kind of thing, it didn't end up of the quality I would have liked. That idea will be saved for a future song instead.

A short progressive guitar loop made to practice and learn more about how to record my guitar and how to make more rock styled music. I've done electronic for over a decade now, but never really touched real instruments, so this is all brand new to me. I learned a lot.

After starting with a traditional song from me, I'm now moving on to some of the new things I've been focused on lately. After discovering a love for slower paced and less standardized EDM beats, I've come to land on music that often is closer to the Future Bass genre. 

While these genre labels are being retroactively applied and not something I necessarily intend during creation, I very much enjoy the sense of freedom I get from doing these new and different styles, which has probably been made clear from many of my recent uploads throughout the last year. As someone who wants to communicate emotions and stories through the music I make first and foremost, this exploration has been the most excitement and fun I've ever had with this hobby. I'm very happy to finally share some of the more personal developments I've had while doing this.
