U-FO is proving himself as an upcoming DJ and producer on the modern dance scene. His fresh take on house music has been seen on releases on labels such as Kina Music, New Violence, Floorpiece and many more. Following the release of his Bipolar EP on his own label, Pick Me Up Records, U-FO has swiftly churned out his Bloom EP the third release on the label. Featuring remixes by co-founder, Fosky and Azteca, this EP will undoubtedly be the one to have on repeat all summer long.

Makes Me Good sets the vibe of the EP. With its funky bass line at the forefront amongst a classic house beat, shifting hi-hats and fuzzy pad chords, and light stabs of vocals, this track will get you moving and prepped for the journey ahead. The self titled track follows. Whilst sticking to the same mood for the previous track, it sets a darker tone for the EP with its glitching synth leads and steely percussive groove. 

Azteca takes Makes Me Good and splashes the track with his own colours. Whilst still keeping to the house feel in the original mix and keeping the distinctive bass line which makes the track so appealing, Azteca adds a more alien spaceship taste to the track with its various hazy glistens whizzing around the forefront of the track. 
The EP is rounded off with a remix of Bloom by Fosky. Not wandering far from the intended sound of the track, he adds a touch of ambience to the track, with pads acting more wistful through the track. Intelligent from the Argentinian. 

U-FO undoubtedly embraces the world of modern house with his Bloom EP, marking another essential release from the Pick Me Up camp. Whilst staying within the sound world of the genre, he takes it one step further with the experimenting of bizarre sounds bouncing around the clinical drum arrangements.
