Manchester newcomer Reynes makes his SITU Records debut with Mono Memory, a dreamy merging of UKG & minimal written during a period of lockdown. 

Hazy Garage roller 3pm on the 25th opens up the record before the listener is plunged into the guttural and rhythmically broken Cyan. On the flip, Jet Black combines weighty bass with delicate pads & skittering drums to maximum effect while Valentines Ride is a sparse, percussion punctuated ride across the lower frequencies.

Newly found Parisian label Oyster Ass readies the first release on its vinyl-only imprint, which consists out of five delicate tracks covering influences from early 90s Progressive House Music and has a slight Tech-note with a sweet minimalistic twist. The outcome of the before-mentioned sounds is Public Request's Iconic Pearl EP. The B1, Low Pressure, is an essential DJ-weapon with "techy" ambitions. Its fast pace perfectly harmonizes with the chord-sequences and vocals as well as trancy-pads and all the other small details, which Public Request managed to smoothly combine on this take. This being said, Low Pressure is a homogeneous conglomerate of soundscapes adding up to a well-nuanced tune creating memorable moments on the dancefloor for those, who enjoy the sweetness of the track's melody. For sure Low Pressure releases latter and sets one off to wonderland.

Patrick Kimber is a Chilean DJ and an electronic music producer. His project, Camero Audio, dates back to 2020. In this, he shows his enthusiasm for styles like jungle and breaks with a lo-fi aesthetic inspired by homemade demos. Patrick has also released songs for Panal Records and Orion Network labels compilations. Since then, his work has evolved and presents us now in Halcxn his new EP called Azul Marino.

Azul Marino is an EP composed of five tracks, recorded between 2023 and 2024. These songs were inspired by ambient and club music. This EP is the second work of the Chilean producer, after the release of ‘Archivos’ on 'De Goya Sounds' label.

This time, he developed a meticulous better-adapted sound for the dance floor. Throughout his career, Cameron Audio has chosen to get closer to broken beats, as in his productions as his DJ sets. Songs like ‘Got Me Lookin’ 4 Ya’ and ‘Prog GPT’ have been influenced by jungle, breaks and garage, inspired by a UK nineties sound.

Despite the EP's strong rhythmic focus, in Azul Marino, Cameron Audio also develops ambient and downtempo, which is manifested in ‘Oscilar’ and the last song which gives the album its name. ‘Soul’ combines both worlds where this project inhabits: a constant broken beat, but wrapped in an ambient atmospherical sigh.

Azul Marino closes an important stage of Patrick’s trajectory, which without a doubt will be the starting point to continue his work as DJ and producer.
