BIOGRAFIE

 

It all started at Rock Werchter when Carl Cox closed maistage on Sunday. This was so amazing and I thought I want that too. But how? Then I discovered that one of my friends (Mario Pauwels) also played techno. After one year weekly practice, I already had a taste for it and quickly decided to buy my own installation. After intense exercise, the first year was almost daily, I started to find my own style in the beginning it was techno and the years it evolved into Tech-House and techno.
 After a few parties (jh Korridor beerse and jk Hoekske gierle), I quickly realized that in my area (Kempen) the public techno not really liked. I started to concentrate on participating in DJ contests to promote myself. In most DJ contests could only join by sending in demos: viva fm dj contest, sos dj-contest ( here, I was elected  to open the dance hall in which I also managed the few people starting to dance.) bunker dj contest in zoersel and subway syndrome dj contest. Usually I got good comments and try to build on. Also can I tell you whit pride that I was 1 of the final 10 of the I love techno dj contest 2010 wich was judged by none other than DAVE CLARKE himself. On the 1st of january 2012 I have played on the balcony of Café d'Anvers during cocoon and it was my first time there and I had a blast. On april 26 2013 I won de lochtfest dj contest and I will be preforming on the 10th of august as opening act on the dj stage of Lochtfest summerfestival. Now after all these years of playing my shit, every day when I learn something by listening to DJ sets and try to do things that I hear in these sets. Dj-ing is my biggest hobby and I could not live without it.
