The mighty Dj Scale Ripper makes his debut on Pie Factory Productions with a murderous 3-track EP ‘Acid Fog’ - inspired by the killer fog in ‘The 100’ TV series, with remixes from label mainstays Teknocracy and F.O.L. (Fight or Lose).

  First track - ‘Acid Fog (Original Mix)’ - is a slower hard acid techno monster, with his trademark heavy duty kiks, acid lines and - just like the TV series - a nice twist after the climax, with optimistic pads to guide the way.  

Second track - ‘Acid Fog (Teknocracy Remix)’ - keeps the pressure up, all stomping kiks built with dark drones, before shifting gear with the dirty analogue lead, until the darkness returns.  

Third track - ‘Acid Fog (Fight or Lose Remix)’- leads us further into the fog, relentless sub pressure and hypnotic pads build to fighting rave stabs, and then the insistent harmony returns to clear the air. 

Dj Scale Ripper goes from strength to strength - gabber vinyl releases in the 90s, hard techno and industrial, international radio shows, and in recent years dark and acid techno. He’s released on: Dolma Records, Techno Vinyls Records, Elektrax, Acid Worx, Oxytech Records, Fresh Cut, Finder Records, Darknet, Teoria Perfekta, and Alienator Records.

Pie Factory Productions was founded in 2012, dropping three bonkers 12”s (including a various artists release with London underground veterans Jerome Hill and Dexorcist) plus numerous digital releases.

Teknocracy returns with a hard and dark techno sound on the ‘Please Go Home’ EP (featuring Techno Fluffer on the mic) - their first artist release since 2016. The title track was inspired by a recorded message from a police van in Finsbury Park, London during the first UK lockdown. Remixes from Dj Scale Ripper and F.O.L. (Fight or Lose).

First track - ‘Please Go Home’ - is paranoia-fuelled hard techno, dystopian vibes and distorted synths, with a sprinkle of Techno Fluffer attitude.

Second track - ‘Please Go Home (Dj Scale Ripper Remix)’ is a relentless acid techno banger, showcasing his trademark hard kiks, acid lines and dynamic percussion.

Third track - ‘Please Go Home (If You’re Not Here For Exercise Fight or Lose Remix)’ - drops a gear into a deep and hypnotic extended remix with a Scandi-noir choir.

Fourth track - ‘Please Go Home (Dub Mix)’ - drops the vocal track for an instrumental workout.

Teknocracy are London & Horsham-based producers Adam Lincoln, Aubrey King and the mysterious Techno Fluffer. Veterans of the UK rave scene (as well as the industrial / metal scene in Sydney, Australia), they decided to try their hand at rave-influenced techno and founded the Pie Factory Productions label in 2012, dropping three bonkers 12”s (including a various artists release with underground veterans Jerome Hill and The Dexorcist), plus numerous digital releases and remixes. 

The label also released the ‘Blame It On Fox’ EP by F.O.L. (Fight or Lose) - Adam’s industrial / electro  / dark ambient side-project - in 2019, and the ‘Acid Fog’ EP by Dj Scale Ripper earlier this year. Please Go Home Promo Mix - F.O.L. - November 2021

Adam Lincoln founded Pie Factory Productions in 2012 along with Aubrey King and Techno Fluffer, a label created intentionally to house his own musical heritage, as this London artist is involved in all the references released by the label to date, and also from his various musical projects, such as Teknocrazy, with which he signs most of his work, as well as sharing, both under this name and with Dilettantism, a release in 2015 with the legendary Jerome Hill and The Dexorcist.

Adam Lincoln is back with a new release, but this time from his solo project F.O.L. (Fight or Lose). Gratitude is the second EP from F.O.L., there was a first release in 2019 with Blame It On Fox, however, with this new release Adam moves closer to an obsessive, industrial sound environment. The Unbearable Shiteness of Being opens the EP with a slow cadence, sharp drum beat and a set of three synthesised lines with which the author manages to create an intense and raw atmosphere. Sunshine Love mixes mysticism with a ceremonial harmonic context. And finally, the track of the same name closes this three-track release with a really powerful industrial break.

PREMIER // F.O.L. - Gratitude [Pie Factory Productions]

Pie Factory Productions presents their first various artists release ‘Slice of Pie Vol.1’, featuring tracks from London underground veterans Jerome Hill and Dexorcist; along with emerging upstarts Teknocracy and Dilettantism.

On the A-side Jerome Hill gets the party started with “The Bogey Track”, a straight up lumbering techno banger from 2003; reworked and right at home on Pie Factory, club tested and approved.

Dexorcist throws down the gauntlet with “Elevator Going Down”, a dark electro journey from the warehouses of north east London; monstrous riffs and deft percussion for the floor, and a track we just had to release.

On the flip Teknocracy returns with “Suspiria”, another techno bomb featuring the elusive Miss Techno Fluffer on vocals; layered breakbeats and off-kilter pads, with a cone destroying kick in homage to the Dario Argento 1977 cinema classic.

Dilettantism round things off with their debut track “Better Late Than Never”, a slice of no-frills warehouse techno; tense bass stumbles under a blanket of dishevelled sound, feeling dirty never felt so good.
