@saintwaxrecords recently opened their account with a super EP from label boss Gledd who is one of the hugely talented pool of Mexican producers ruling the Disco airwaves right now. Turning things up again the label's next EP 'Aguardiente Y Mezcal' is incoming and features two tracks each from 'the-funk-district and @vagabundoclubsocial, two acts we have loads of time for on LV online. As you would expect it's full of underground Latin edged club bumpers.

Released on the Kampana label, the track blends retro funk/blues sampling, disco-house drive, and a Brazilian twist — with an extended version available exclusively on Bandcamp. It first appeared in late 2020 and was distributed more widely in early 2021.

Rafael Fernández has previously roamed on labels such as Editorial, Hotbox, Hotdigits, Wall of Fame, Deep Sense, Midnight Riot, Alpaca, Masterworks, Spa in Disco, Wonderful Times and several others.
His main traits are funky and groove driven tracks with a very special South American tinge.

Here we find him in free dressage at Monsieur Van Pratt‘s Super Spicy label, where he fits wonderfully well into the menagerie.

Slightly Transformed bring us a five-tracker from Paul Older, an Italian producer whose work has also appeared on Hot Digits, Masterworks, Furious Mandrill, Tropical Disco and other labels. The man from Padova's dug admirably deep, so while all five tracks are re-edits we won't concern ourselves too much as regards source material: suffice to say that if your floor moves to original 70s-style disco (as opposed to its contemporary, more electronic variants) then any of the five tracks here will do the job nicely, with special mention going to 'Hot Deb' - AKA Debbie Jacobs' 1979 nugget 'Hot Hot' - which has pyeow-pyeow-pyeow! stabs to die for.
