It’s been a little while but we are back and happy to bring you the first PAX Podcast of 2022! This also marks the beginning of more regular uploads, as we will start releasing a podcast every month.

To kick things off we have a mesmerizing mix by @Idashro. Born in Istanbul, based in Amsterdam, I-RO is stepping into the Dutch Scene. Making her debut at a rave just 8 weeks ago, she already displays a level of quality and confidence in her sound that is not often seen in upcoming dj’s. I-RO’s sound is mysterious, capturing and expressive. Groovy basslines join hypnotic patterns and melodies to gently guide you towards a deeper realm. For I-RO music is both a way to find yourself and to escape. This is important because in today’s world we deal with so many constraints whereas music means liberty. Listening to different genres of music throughout life appealed to different parts of I-RO’s personality, which in turn allowed her to discover herself as a whole.

When we asked I-RO about the thoughts and feelings surrounding the mix she said this: ‘’This is the musical conveyance of an insomniac girl’s mind. She scrutinizes her days and thoughts trying to fall asleep. Later on, she enters a dreamy state where her thoughts become imaginations scrambled with some voices and visions from her subconscious… She wakes up. Did she ever fall asleep and dream or was it all made up in her mind?’’

So join I-RO in between the beats and dream away for 2 hours…

Øbsidiaän is the duo project formed by the Mexican-born, Barcelona-based artists Hector Tlaseca and Yves Del Rio.

They produce their own music which they perform live as well as delivering solid and consistent DJ sets, where they explore sounds, rhythms and textures ranging from Ambient to Techno.

As part of their sonic exploration, they also run the label “Feinkost Records” aiming to give an outlet to like-minded artists with a serious proposal in music making.

Leon Lolishvili a.k.a. Boyd Schidt is a pioneering Georgian electronic producer and DJ, better known as a half of the long-running techno duo Greenbeam & Leon

As a solo artist, Boyd Schidt's career dates to 2010, with releases on Sonic Groove, KHIDI, Front Record, Mo's Ferry, Emote Music etc. In 2014, he released "Mornig Utopia" as a part of Studio R°'s "Various 003", alongside Mike Parker, Brendon Moeller, Zadig, Exercise One, followed by next 12", "Structure EP" on Waveform. Nowadays, Georgia's Techno pioneer is still actively engaged in the process of composing music and DJing around the world, therefore contributing to the advancement of electronic music scene in Georgia.
