Our Florentine brother, Leonardo Gonnelli has been a tear this year dropping a bunch of standout releases on Deeperfect. And, we have great news; he is back! This time he pairs up with Parisian DJ and producer The Mekanism. This is a guy with serious underground house roots, who is gifted at creating effortlessly cool music that works on many different dancefloors. Releasing on well respected labels such as Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It, Needwant, Moon Harbour and 2020 Vision to name a few. We are sure you are going to love this stellar collaboration between these two industry heavyweights. 
The lead track here is a lush, club focused house jam with a minimal touch. ‘About Us’ gets down to business with a stripped back, yet energetic beat that rides over a warm, pumping sub groove. The track remains underground and loopy, using the slick vocal phrasing and catchy acidic synth riff to drive the energy and build an enveloping, hedonistic vibe. 
On ‘Lies’ the guys delve into rougher territory, with chunky tech beats and tough acid riffs bringing the power for the peak time floors. Building synths create tension as the lush vocals add a warmth and texture above the squelch of the main acid lines. They have taken a more heads down approach on this track and have created a serious dancefloor weapon that will dominate clubs and take no prisoners in the coming months!

DJ and producer Jaden Thompson may be young in years, but he’s already making waves in the industry. He brings his infectious sound to Emerald City this March with three distinct tracks.

Title track Alright is an uplifting offering with an assuring vocal hook, creating an exotic aesthetic with tribal drum pads and a warm bassline. Star Sign is a joyful number, a definite summer track, that leaves the listener with feelings of elation. Freak Groove, produced alongside Dub Clap, closes the EP on a dubbier note, combining a rolling bass with a smattering of hi-hats.

“Recently I’ve been wanting to show a bit more variation throughout my music production, reflecting a range of influences, and not setting myself any barriers. As soon as I finished the first four tracks in this new mindset, I sent them to Jamie, and he signed three of them. As you can imagine, I couldn’t be happier." - Jaden Thompson.

At the tender age of just 19, Jaden Thompson has already had his productions signed to labels including Cuttin’ Headz and Material. His debut release, 2017’s All Day, was one of Pete Tong’s top tracks played on Radio 1 that same year. As a DJ, he’s played alongside some of dance music’s key figures including The Martinez Brothers, Nick Curly and Tiga. Already garnering such huge support so early on, 2019 looks set to be a pivotal moment in Thompson’s career.

Make Me Blue is first up and has rock solid, wall rattling kick drums and is a hardcore house track that will get hands in the air. The hi hats are lively and razor sharp, airy vocals bring the heat and the whole thing is perfect dancing music. Luca Donzelli then steps up with a fierce acid laced remix that burrows deep, with intense synths and a big wall of drums barreling along. Last of all, Raw Street Party is a twisted house banger with fat bass and a warped lead synth that brings wonkiness to the groove.

A party located on the infamous Amnesia Ibiza disco. Now, back in October 2019, it's time to talk about 'Spotlight' their new three-track EP that continues with the good vibes between Roush Label and the italian duo. Title cut opens with the common an infectious Proudly People's rhythm. The warped vocal and snare drum rolls gives an extra to the powerful beat. Next up, 'Module One' starts with a funky bouncing bassline since its first beats with a crispy 909 open hat. An acid lead makes an stunning appear on the bridge of the track becoming a great refreshment. 'That's Right' closes the EP as a great tech house roller with sharp hats and predominant snares. As every year this Various Artists will mark our honest tribute to the infamous Sonar and Off-Sonar week, which takes place at the beauty and sunny Barcelona. Obviously this year for all-known reasons we are going to celebrate such an intense week surrounded by our closest friends and family at our homes. With 6 tracks and making a firm bet in quality over quantity Omar Deaz opens things with 'Dubbler'. The Miami based artist after his Bump Cut debut, drops a great cut combining a bouncy bass line with a hip-hop styled vocal. Next up, we welcome back Dmitri Saidi and his 'People Coming' signed side to side with Jesus Nava. This one is an actual tech-house composition with crispy hats and great riser effects on the breakdowns. As third track, Sanchez & Narvaez drops 'Just a Bit', a classy cut that converges in the point where tech and house meet. The deep chords and the slightly driven 909 kick are without any doubt the main characters of the composition. Timid Boy and 'Hot Hot Hot' offers us a musical journey combining arpeggiated synths with raw beats. As fifth one, Knober and Jaime Soeiro's 'Wishes' offers a peak-time weapon for tech-house heads. Last but not least, debuting on Roush, the spaniard Aitor Astiz closes the EP with 'Like This'.
