On We Go Regardless

This is a song by one of my favorite bands that, believe it or not, Chris suggested we do. I really feel like we're kindred musical spirits. His playing on this and his voice are excellent as always. He's on acoustic guitar and the high vocals on this one. He also mixed, produced, and arranged the song. You'll hear me on the bass, synth, slide, mandolin, and auxiliary guitar, as well as singing the two low parts. We decided to do a string of covers back in the summer. If you've taken the time to read this, then please throw out some suggestions in the comments for our next one (or the one after that).

'Massaging The Ego' is a fusion track inspired by the thought of self conceit, which of course is the "ego". So when most of us do or achieve something that pleases us, this is us 'Massaging The Ego'. I'm not sure if I am totally blown away by this present work, but my ego seems to be happy enough. So massaging accomplished, here is the track.

People often ask me why my music is dark and slow!
Dark, not really in a sonic sense yes, but it's just a "color" that goes with my feeling that light isn't in my journeys, even the gentle ones.
Slow, often because I've been through so many moments of violence, speed, eagerness and over time the speed gets crazier and crazier, especially in music, it's gripping, so I appreciate a certain calm in my titles.
I hope you will appreciate the dark and the quiet ☺️ (I always love a good track spinning at 150 bpm!)

Les gens me demandent souvent pourquoi ma musique est sombre et lente !
Sombre, pas vraiment au sens sonore oui, mais c'est juste une "couleur" qui va avec mon sentiment que la lumière n'est pas dans mes voyages, même les plus doux.
Lent, souvent parce que j'ai vécu tellement de moments de violence, de vitesse, d'empressement et avec le temps la vitesse devient de plus en plus folle, surtout en musique, c'est saisissant, donc j'apprécie un certain calme dans mes titres.
J'espère que vous saurez apprécier le sombre et le calme ☺️ (j'aime toujours un bon morceau qui tourne à 150 bpm !)
