Celebrating hitting 100,000 followers on Twitter, visionary electronic producer Four Tet has been giving away a selection of rare and unreleased tracks and edits to his fans. Posting a batch of links using filesharing site Sendspace, he began tweeting about the free tracks, made between 1999 and 2012, late last night, finishing this morning.

I’m a huge fan of this band, and of Michelle Zauner as a musician, and author, so I’ve had this one on my list to make, was just waiting for the right musical idea to arise first. I remember I made the drums on the train to Manchester in November or something, and initially it was just going to be some rolling minimal thing, then when I returned home I recorded in the bass and it fully changed the direction, now it’s kinda an anthem.

Idk what happened to this track, it was uploaded for like a week then vanished from the internet without any explanation. It is a fantastic track and deserves to be heard, one my fav releases of 2024.
