Quickie From US- "We first discovered Josef Salvats music with his single Hustler about 18 months back.... The song was so authentic and emotional and his voice was alike nothing we had heard. We did some research and found out he was quickly signed and we were sure it was only a matter of time before this guy was doing Sam Smith things. We had always wanted to remix his work but to be quite honest we thought we would write and he would just say no hahah... SO when we heard open Season we fell in love all over again. His unmistakable voice and haunting yet oddly uplifting lyrics... We decided to grow some balls and reach out, well not us we used our manager as cover... Sorta like sending your ugly friend over to find out of a girls single...! To our surprise Josef was totally down and we got the stems As you may have noticed lately we have been on a downtempo kick. Made its the food we've been eating, or weather but we have really enjoyed making this alternative tracks to our usual remix style. For us its important to go left sometimes as experimenting with new styles and sounds really opens up our creativity and thats certainly was the case with this. Anyway we ended up with this wonderful downtempo track that has a lot of organic sounds in it paired with the synths. We sent it over to Salvat and Co. and they loved it! So Betty Who is one of my favorite new pop artists and if you're not familiar with her music yet I hope this remix will make you a fan, cause everything she and Peter Thomas do together is incredible.  'It's a perfect day for a fight' is my favorite opening to a love song in a while and everything about this track just screams summer, sun, and poor decisions in the back of a convertible.  Put the windows down, turn the volume up, and go get lost to this one.

Also I know artists always say this but for real GO LISTEN to Betty Who's stuff cause she is a rockstar!

1 - I heard an actual human being use the phrase The Boys Are Back in reference to the Entourage movie this weekend
2 - Pied Piper's new lawyer in Silicon Valley is also Lloyd Braun from Seinfeld which is just phenomenal casting

Hey hey! We're sorry this remix was late getting up here on SoundCloud but it was completely out of our hands! Anyways, Dada Life are one of the first electronic music duos who really blew us away when we started Young Bombs. Their production and talent is just next level and they always seem to stay one step ahead of everyone else. So needless to say, getting this opportunity to remix them is still pretty surreal and we're thankful they thought of us!

Although it's only coming out now, this remix was made the day after we finished our 'Weekend Millionaires' remix...so, sometime in April. We were both in a really happy, positive headspace when we made it and we think those emotions really come through in the music. We wanted to make a summertime, progressive house remix but add some twists to it. We gave the verses an island/tropical vibe and the drop a unique groove with the bassline.
