This is a French (my mother tongue) EPx17 song for those who’d rather be awake than reassured—the ones who’d rather KNOW & GROW than BLOW & SHOW blindly, even if “Some Truths Are Harder to Swallow” 🍌💦  i.e. my BJ (banana joke:) sister-song of “L’Embobinage”… 

The lyrics are rooted in one of Carl Sagan’s most haunting and relevant psychological insights: 

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: 
If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding the truth. The bamboozle has captured us.
