I just had to cover this song even though I knew I would never be able to match the power and emotion of Freddy Mercury. My method of recording with my S3 Mini is growing stale as it's getting harder and harder to get decent vocal quality while recording, but I hope you guys enjoy this! :D And thanks to David Parejo for some inspiration on how to cover this song! :D

I fell in love with this song, because of it's deep meaning. Such a mature song and Avril is just amazing. I pitched the instrumental and the lower octave backing vocals because I couldn't get the right "feel" to the falsetto notes in the chorus :D. I hope you guys love this song as much as I do.

I remember hearing this song when I was about 5 years old and just instantly loving how fun this song is! Today, 15 years later, I still feel exactly the same :). Such a great cover by Letters to Cleo of a great song by Cheap Trick. :D I hope you guys have as much fun listening to it as I had recording it. It's a little rough around the edges, but that's what makes it fun! :D

I'm a small town guy from South Africa looking to make an impact on the music industry. I started singing at around 6 years old and eventually built the confidence to start performing live. I just remember loving the feeling of being on stage and have enjoyed it ever since. My vocal range ranges from E2 to C6 so I like to experiment will all types of music but I sing female songs 95% of the time because the alto range is where I am most comfortable :D I use my cellphone to record my vocals (I have a Samsung S3 Mini) and then just add a little echo and feedback and record the acapella track over the instrumental using Virtual DJ. None of my music is autotuned or given any other form of editing. I hope you guys like my covers, and I really hope to start posting original music soon!! :D
