The Buenos Aires-based Strain collective branches out with this first vinyl release and, as you will know if you are reading this, a fine one it is too. 

This is a tech house with real clout - Muten's 'Gag' bangs nicely with some nuanced pads and squirming machines adding detail. Desiree Falessi's 'Phenomenal' is high-speed house with alluring and far-sighted pad work then Botwin ups the ante with the raved-up tech of 'Decomposed Areas.' 

Rindeau & Stefano Andriezzi's 'Rinzzi' closes down with the sort of cosmic turbulence that gets a wide-eyed crowd nice and sweaty
