Transforming paths may take things away, but this EP serves as my reminder to understand and accept that this approach is necessary to bring new joy into life.

Last winter I did this remix for fun as I love Ennio Morricone and these actors. Now that Alain Delon, the last one of them passed away, I would like to share it in order to pay homage. 
Jean Gabin, Alain Delon & Lino Ventura. A whole legendary French era of artists & important people for culture is being taken away one by one at the moment.  
My late grandfather Jean-Claude Labret was part of it, working in cinema advertising, he used to know them and tell me funny stories. 

This track is a Disco re-interpretation of Le Clan Des Siciliens movie soundtrack by Ennio Morricone. 
I influenced myself of the very early French Disco like Cerrone & Didier Marouani.

Mainly used synthesizers (hardware & plug ins) from the 70’s & 80’s like Oberheim Sem Pro, ARP Solina String Ensemble, ARP 2600, Synclavier, Fairlight CMI, Juno60, Korg Ms-20…

Despite the label efforts to hide from any sonic etiquette, still existing a core which will be the SEMANTICA sound identity for a time. Juan Atkins' Infiniti project combines raw tactility and puristic elegance with Skynet, where slinking grooves mask chaotic frequencies and roughly-hewn structure.

Alongside fellow Detroit legend Terrence Dixon who appears on several tracks, Atkins exposes the life and emotion in machines, outputting a biomorphic atmosphere of industrial soul.

The ongoing importance of this album is indisputable, essential both to techno and to Tresor.

BIG REUNION AT THE ZHARK CAMP: ORPHX, Rrose, SHXCXCHCXSH & Kareem remixing SOLARIS from Kareems 1997 release CICLOP (ZHARK0004).

ZHARK 0004 CICLOP was released in 1997 combining a variety of different approaches ranging from Industrial HipHop and cinematic ambience to Dub Techno. 
'SOLARIS' stood out with brutally stripped down minimalism.

Zhark 0040 now assembles 4 unique remixes of SOLARIS:
SHX present a completely dismantled and rhythmically broken mutation of the original. 
Rrose and Kareem emphasize on minimalistic hypnotism paired with unexpected sound articulations.
ORPHXs version emphasizes on a radically slowed down and grinding soundscape progression.

Premiere: Kareem - Solaris (Rrose Remix)  [Zhark Recordings]

With Multiply Your Absurdities, Helena Hauff delivers her long-awaited 12-inch debut on Tresor: a multi-colored inauguration, masterfully crafted by the inimitable Hamburg producer and DJ.

The title track Multiplying My Absurdities opens the record, with a slow burn of magnetic synths and numbing acid drops. Through its simple yet thrilling dynamics, it occasionally falls into playful skepticism, creating something truly unique, uncompromised, and beautiful.

Punks in the Gym is named after an infamous climbing route in Australia. As its namesake, the track mercilessly rises to a techno summit.
It gets steeper and steeper with every bar, resembling a volcanic dance where 303 earthquakes shake the ground before eruptions. 
Once you're halfway in, there's no turning back; all you can do is keep moving forward. 

The closing track, Humanoid Fruit, transports to an even darker prehistoric landscape. Synths bursts remind of fossilized Pterodactyls revived—a challenging but rewarding trip through acidic rain and the alleys of your mind. 

Originally released as the soundtrack for Teslaism by artist and filmmaker Bahar Noorizadeh, a 3rd person musical racing game featuring Elon Musk and his self-driving car/lover and life coach, as they drive towards a shareholder meeting in a post-gamified Berlin landscape. It premiered at the "Tresor 31: Techno, Berlin und die große Freiheit" exhibition in 2022 and deals with stimulating skepticism about the emergence of a new era after Post-fordism that she calls Teslaism: "an upgrade to the system of production and consumption predicated on advanced storytelling, financial worldbuilding, and imagineering 'the look of the future.'" What has been once inspired by Helena Hauff's dystopian sound has now been made into an official music video for the track.

Much like the video, Multiply Your Absurdities represents a journey into futuristic uncertainty.
