After digging up a year's old project on a Saturday morning, Alex Amaro wrote "Boss" in one quick session and had it played out to thousands the same evening. It's groove heavy drums and rhythmic bassline are accented with a punchy rave-tinged synth line perfect for peak hour dancefloors and sweaty low ceilinged rooms.

Hence a collision of styles that gives the name to our podcast series, "Collider". The first podcast of the series is mixed by Quantiq London alma matter, Ed Martinez, and will take you in a round trip that starts with Cubicolor, and ends on Patrice Baumel, but has things like Vonda7 or Drunken Kong in the middle.

Quantiq London presents Collider Podcast #001: Ed Martinez

The PFI Series will feature periodic mixes exploring inspirations drawn upon via my long standing love of melodic house & techno.

To begin the series, the first episode (Mixcloud) is purely techno and designed for the dancefloor. You can find the other ones here on Soundcloud.

The second episode boasts heaps of chilling parts with ambient and space sounds in the first part.

The middle part is set upon a house groovy vibe that it carries along up to the very end.

Pierre Le Groove 
born in 1974 in Oberhausen / Germany.
From the early 90s he found his passion for techno music and travelled through the hippest Clubs and Partys in the country. In this time he had his first experience in DJing and Producing. In 1998, he started to record his own beats and tracks.
Trance Music was his first Love!
After several successful competitions for talents and Remixes, Pierre fell more and more into Techno and Techhouse
which he produces in his professional studio since 2011. In May 2013 his first release will be available on Zensur Records.
