At the heart of the song is the desire to raise awareness of, and challenge how we perceive and respond to homelessness.
Sam Northwood’s voice and the lyrics and meaning of “Want to be Home” challenges each of us to reflect on our perceptions and ask the hard question where would we turn if we were homeless? 

Everyone involved with “Want to be Home” feels strongly about our collective responsibilities to each other as a society.  Consequently, 50% of the profits from the sales of this single will be shared between Centre Point UK and De Paul International homeless charities.
