Petrus Manvie, Pete Num Varsi, Van Meurs Van Peppen and Marius Nepvet release music through the AIMeurs label. The names of the artists, except for Van Meurs Van Peppen, are anagrams of the name Piet van Meurs (IV), the producer, composer, lyricist, and singer, together with his wife Els van Peppen, of all music spanning blues, blues-rock, hard rock, pop-rock, deep house, (nu) jazz, to background music, and as a hobby and to please Piet (V), gabba, and speed core. which he finishes with the help of AI.

Piet van Meurs Sr. is older but still very busy and produces music. He draws inspiration from his love for music, his knowledge of many genres, his possession of a vast collection of music that has ever been released, and above all, from his love for his muse, Els. Releases began in 2024, and genres like blues, rock, pop, and a mix of nu jazz and deep house can be purchased or listened to on Qobuz (Hi-res), Amazon Music, Spotify, Tidal, YouTube, Apple Music, and various other platforms. 
Now at an advanced age, he focuses on, not only the love of his life, but also his passion music. 
But, meanwhile, he and his muse Els, still wear jeans and wonder why it's getting colder at night. They must be getting old.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly sophisticated, resulting in products—particularly in the fields of photography, art, and music—of ever-higher quality. In this context, AI is expected to play an increasingly significant role in the creation of Piet’s music.

All music released under the name Piet van Meurs and aliases (e.g., Van Meurs Van Peppen, Pete Num Varsi, Marius Nepvet, Petrus Manvie) is rooted in personal experience, imagination, and artistic intent. I am the sole author of all lyrics, which are based on real-life events, relationships, or original poetic visions. The musical production process often begins with intros composed by myself using software such as Magix Music Maker or Native Instruments. These intros are created via MIDI performance or with licensed loops. Vocals are performed either by myself or my spouse—with full consent—despite our lack of formal vocal training. These vocal elements, along with the musical intro, serve as the foundation for AI-assisted extension using Suno, including voice cloning based on our own voices.
Each track is arranged and structured by me, with clear direction for intro, verse, chorus, bridge, and outro. In some cases, I initiate the process by generating instrumental compositions via prompt-based input, specifying instruments and stylistic choices. From dozens of AI-generated drafts, I select and refine the one that best matches my vision.
Before final release, all tracks undergo detailed mastering and editing using Samplitude Pro X8 Suite (multiband dynamics, sample manipulation, remixing) and final mastering via Mixea.
I disclose that AI tools, Suno, have been used as part of the creative and technical process. However, all lyrical content, musical direction, vocal identity, and final production decisions remain entirely under my authorship and control.
This approach reflects the commitment to transparency, artistic integrity, and the ethical use of emerging technologies in music creation.
