Falling From The Light

Petrus Manvie, Pete Num Varsi, and Van Meurs Van Peppen release music through the AIMeurs label. The names of the artists, except for Van Meurs Van Peppen, are anagrams of the name Piet van Meurs (IV), the producer, composer, lyricist, and singer, together with his wife Els van Peppen, of all music spanning blues, blues-rock, hard rock, pop-rock, deep house, (nu) jazz, to background music, and as a hobby and to please Piet (V), gabba, and speed core, which he finishes with the help of AI.

Piet van Meurs Sr. is older but still very busy and produces music with the final finishing touches from AI. The lyrics, genre, composition, performance, his own voice or that of Els, and the artwork are all determined or made by himself. However, the actual music and vocal performance are eventually created with the help of the computer—partly his own chords, rhythm loops, and the like made with a PC and programs he has been working with for years—and partly finished with the help of an AI program, after which he also performs the technical final mix himself. He draws inspiration from his love for music, his knowledge of many genres, his possession of a vast collection of music that has ever been released, and above all, from his love for his muse, Els. Releases began in 2024, and genres like blues, rock, pop, and a mix of nu jazz and deep house can be purchased or listened to on Qobuz (Hi-res), Amazon Music, Spotify, Tidal, YouTube, Apple Music, and various other platforms. 

Now at an advanced age, he focuses on, not only the love of his life, but also his passion music. He is involved in the production of music, where he writes the lyrics, determines the composition, prepares the production using his own voice or the voice of Els and then creates the music with the PC, Samplitude, SoundForge, Music Maker and AI. The musical styles are as varied as his music favorits: from jazz and blues to progressive psybient and deep house; and in the Dutch language, as well as French, English, Polish, Wolof and Spanish. His music can be streamed from or purchased (also in Hi-Res) at almost all music platforms such as Qobuz, Beatport (Petrus Manvie), Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube and many others. 

But, meanwhile, he and his use Els, still wear jeans and wonder why it's getting colder at night. They must be getting old
