DOC invites talented Brazilian DJ Eli Iwasa for a special session with the finest dance music jams, especially for you. 

Just like Patti Smith and PJ Harvey, strong women who are her most significant inspirations in life, Eli is multiform: sidereal artist, businesswoman owning Club 88 and CAOS, both in Campinas, and curator of her own radio show. It's a journey towards infinity, irradiating energy wherever she goes. Her desire for artistic expression has led her to create the band Bleeping Sauce together with Marco A.S. (ex-Click-Box). There, she sings her own lyrics amidst techno kicks and electric guitars, this latest reverberating times when she spent day after day at Galeria do Rock, in São Paulo, looking for post-punk and synth pop releases or, maybe, the latest rarity just-arrived from Japan.

A combination of vast repertory and dexterous mixing can a make good DJ. But in this constellation of musical devotees who perform throughout the universe, a few luminous points shine brighter. They are focused on pulsating light, attracting celestial bodies wherever they go. Those who see them play are taken by their enlightenment, not knowing exactly why – and when they least expect, their bodies start moving, their eyes close unwittingly, and under this musical collective torpor, they smile.

Steve Bug & Langenberg: NGC 6240 

The second single from Steve Bug & Langenberg’s new project together serves up another reminder why both producers are held in such high regard.

Steve Bug's unwavering dedication to house music had brought forward yet another winning combination on his own Poker Flat Recordings label, this time with Langenberg - himself a key part of the deep house vanguard in Europe.

'NGC 6240' is one of the harder edged tracks from the album 'Paradise Sold' - a techy, urgent work out with rising arpeggiated leads and sense of impending euphoria.

Long time collaborator Tim Englehardt drops by to deliver a signature remix - taking the track in a deeper direction and opening up the arrangement to a trippy, tightly wound groove.

The techno veteran Vince Watson also shares his vision for the track in another remix presented here - adding assistant claps and percussions and stretching out the drama over eight and half minutes.

Let us introduce DJ, Producer and Label honcho, Pieter Steijger a.k.a. STEYGER. Born on Valentine’s Day, in the year house music took its first steps towards Europe, 1989. This man had his first osculation with the turntables at the age of 13, since then he developed himself and has been constantly working on innovating electronic music. 

Calling Pieter Steijger a newcomer would be a blatant mishap, as he's already got a slew of releases on diverse labels under his belt, including his own label called Frameworx Music. 

Pieter started his own imprint Frameworx Music in 2008, where he released his second EP “Get Some and Pseudoniem”. His tracks “Body Language” and “Deviation” were released on Amsterdam based label 90Watts Music. Steijger’s tracks “Ca Va” and “Parallel” got signed on world famous label, Global Underground. 

Early 2013 Pieter released his first artist album Luminosity, and it has been released on his label Frameworx Music. Later on he also released his ‘Denial’, ‘Vicious’ and ‘Talkback’ EPs on this label.

In 2014 Pieter’s ‘Winter EP’ got released on Retouch Recordings owned by Italian duo Doomwork. 

Later in 2015, Pieter Steijger gained some major success where he came with ‘Gossip’ EP at the famous Kompakt label. Since then he also released music on Einmusika Recordings and MUAK Music. 

During Pieter’s career his talent did not go unnoticed as he got major feedback and support from the likes of; Adam Beyer, Bart Skills, Christian Smith, Doomwork, Dubfire, Eelke Kleijn, Gregor Tresher, John Digweed, Karotte, Kevin Saunderson, Luciano, Marco Carola, Misstress Barbara, Nick Warren, Nuno Dos Santos, Paco Osuna, Pig & Dan, Remy, Richie Hawtin, Saeed Younan, Shlomi Aber, Stephan Bodzin, and many others.
