Is a anthem on my perception of not only society, but the world, and somewhere down along the road of which humanity took a negative turn. We stumbled across a path filled with judgement, ridicule, binaries, and stereotypes, and with lyricism...
I choose to break those barriers. 
Regardless of what anyone says about the person you choose to be, it's learning to ignore all people, places, and things that once weighed you down. To finally overcome self-doubt, fear and rise above from the trenches of rock bottom. It's the understanding that the light at the end of the tunnel is just an illusion that we have created within our minds.

This track is about becoming your own kind of superhero, and letting go of the idea of being your, "own worst enemy."

Lyrical Masterminds Feat. Ian Lasko

This track, just like all my other ones, start off with just a word on a piece of paper in my notebook. For me, writing is my form of self-expression and without it, I would be lost. 
Recently, I went back and read through all my journals and stumbled across this page with words on the top saying,
"I'm searching for the ones who are,
Independent, Courageous, Wild Free Spirits, Who don't fear any limits, because they're fearless...
And then something hit me, it was a little bit of realization mixed in with a hell of a lot of inspiration and I thought to myself,
"With all the bad going on in our world, with all the distractions, the hate, the fear, and the animosity towards one another, despite the fact that YES, we are all different, and YES, we have different beliefs, different ideas on what the system should be like, different opinions and perspectives based upon what we choose to stand for.
But above all else,
We're ALL human.
So I thought to myself,
"How can I unify everyone, regardless of those differences?"

So I chose to spread positive change, hope, and unification through the act of visual lyricism and music. At first, I wasn't sure if it was going to be possible, and yes, I'd be lying if I said I had some doubts.
But every person that chose to be involved with this project, not only showed excitement, gratitude, but they also showed appreciation, kindness, and understanding of my vision, and allowed what was once just words on my paper, to become a visionary I could of only dreamed of turning into reality. 

The real people to applaud are the ones that choose to ignore the ignorance, the limitations, the boundaries or the stereotypes. The ones who stand up for what they believe in, even if it means standing alone. The ones who continue to rise above, and spread that positive energy, those positive vibes, those inspirational words, and the motivational actions that help spread peace, love, empathy and compassion world-wide.

This track is a reminder, that it doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, or where you're going, all that matters is that even on the worst days, when it feels like everything is in shambles,
Look up.
You're enough.
& the world needs more of you. 
the world needs more from all of us.
