Latest addition to Emerald & Doreen’s carefully selected house roster is Danny Kissane,  a London based DJ and producer. 
Taking its influences from the vibrant east London warehouse club scene, his latest release “Let's Go” comes from a love for the old school UK garage bass line sounds fused with today’s modern deep house flavours. We are celebrating this little house anthem with a selection of fresh & vivid interpretations by some of our own faves Central Rodeo, Tunnelvision, Chris Hingher, Drew Miller, Raffaello Bonaga & Grim Avenue, all adding their own twists and turns ranging from  deep via jazzy to tech.

Grim Avenue is the production alias for San Diego-based musician Rob DeSisto. Rob cut his teeth as a DJ on 88.9 WERS in Boston before branching out to playing clubs and parties all over the city and greater New England. After relocating to California in 2009, Rob headed up a indie-dance trio for several years that allowed him to fully indulge his love of retro sounds and lo-fi beats. With Surfaces, the producer has returned to the deeper and techier progressive sounds that are his roots.

Blitz & Planck return with a wonderful deep and yet grooving track in the shape of Drauf Gepfiffen. Analogue trumpets guide us on a journey that's bright and warm, and even though it has a serious undertone, it won't fail to make you smile as you dance away to it's sunshiny feel.
Drew Miller heads up the B side with his take. Bringing a totally new angle, we're treated to a psychedelic groove down that's tripped out with weird computer sounds layered over lush pads all moved along by a grooving acid bassline.

Following up on his “Surfaces” EP, San Diego producer Grim Avenue reunites with fellow musician, Aroarer, to bring you three new tracks of melancholic summer goodness in the Albatross EP. On the opening track, Aroarer’s voice drips with regret over dusty percussion, cavernous bells, and a deep tech bassline in a haze of spilt sangria and sleepless humid nights on the tail end of a summer romance.

“Wandering Albatross” is followed by the haunting vocals and acid-tinged micro-house vibe of “Dream Now”, and the breezey, shuffling “Islands” which is sure to loosen a bikini string or two. Backed up by a cadre of remixers from Emerald and Doreen’s talented stable incl. Central Rodeo, Owen Ni, Danny Kissane & Drew Miller and a club mix you can set your strobelight by, the Albatross EP has everything needed to be the cool shady spot on a hot summer day.

Drew Miller is a passionate producer of Electronic music from Glasgow, Scotland. He's at his happiest when he's up all night producing something melodic with a touch of quirkyness, with releases all the way back to 1992 making music has and always will be one of his biggest pleasures in life!

Mistura EP is a blend, a mixture of different styles and ideas from the one twisted musical mind that doesn't like to be limited to a single genre. Mistura is a Portuguese word meaning 'A mingled compound in which different ingredients are contained in a liquid state; a mixture'.
With remixes from the very talented Caveman (Alex Cavers), Grim Avenue and Owen Ni.

Drew Miller returns to Gibbon with his Bandpass E.P.
Based around and influenced by the filter types the tracks are named after, we're treated to two wonderful tracks and their respective remixes.
Chebychev is a Tech House number, laden with monophonic synths layered over an uplifting groove somehow reminiscent of Lil Louis.
Wolfgng brings us a remix in his trademark style, pulsing basslines and glitched out FX melded skillfully together to create a technoid dream.
The B-side is where we find the second track, Butterworth. With a darker tone and an initial sense of urgency, we're led into a land of bouncing and grooving electronic goodness that surprises with an uplifting motif.
Benwaa follows this up with his take, utilizing a more driving feel to complement the original and all whilst teasing us with tastes of the synth lines and pads too. 

The artwork for this release is provided by Xflo:w, a world renowned and award winning photographer based in Berlin. We embark on a journey of covers provided by him to compliment the aural delights within each release, so keep an eye out!

Bringing up the B-Side, a contrast to the depth and melodic of the A-Side, we're presented with Acid House "Lanty Slee", driving, drunkenly happy and energetic just as it's namesake would want you, cheekily twisting your mind and body up into a firewater dance of fun.

Progressive house dealer and stalwart Silinder gives his impression of the smugglers tale, turning it on its head and bringing an altogether foggier and darker mood, a pulsing energy entrenched with the feeling of a journey through the night taking us to somewhere rather intoxicating indeed.

Second track I done with Darren Norman on the Vinyl Frontier label, this one was in1994 at Guru Josh's studio in Chiswick over 2 or 3 nights, engineers were Tom and Rupert. This one was on a Fantazia compilation CD, The Ultimate House Collection Vol2?, Boy George mixed it into Paperclip People if I remember correctly!

Sensoria, G Marks The Spot - A Side

First track I done with Darren Norman on the Vinyl Frontier label, in 1993, engineer was Justin Drake (I think), can't recall exactly where the studio was, on the outskirts of London somewhere, I remember Jack Smooth was in the other studio accross the hallway.

Olav Basoski and DJ Eric E done a remix of this track not long after it was released on Funny Vinyl.
