Techno is in the genetic pulse of the Octave One brothers. Hailing from Detroit, Lenny and Lawrence Burden have been vanguards of the genre since its early innovation and continue to set the standard for dance floors. Their electrifying live performances showcase to audiences just what techno is made of: the synthesis of man and machine. The duo’s astounding array of analog gear, a mighty rig they call “The Mothership,” acts as a vessel of funk grooves, house riffs, and irresistible rhythms as they take dancers on a trip through musical literacy. Following his massive release ‘Strange World’ earlier this year, Czech producer Dominik Gehringer returns to Purified, teaming up with Ovadia for their ‘Digital Age’ EP. Entering a futuristic realm through spoken word vocoders, heavy percussion and soaring synths, the producers explore a cacophony of sounds in the title track. Delivering a peak time cut, Dominik leads audiences on an energetic journey throughout a hybrid and impactful soundscape in his second offering ‘Dance With Me’.

The ‘Digital Age’ artwork showcases a striking image of a blacktip shark, captured by Daniel Nicholson. Blacktip sharks (Carcharhinus limbatus) are powerful predators found in tropical and subtropical waters, playing a key role in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems by regulating prey populations. These sharks are known for their distinctive black-tipped fins and their remarkable agility, often leaping out of the water during feeding frenzies. Unfortunately, overfishing and habitat degradation are threatening their populations. The Shark Research Unit, (@sharkresearchunit / shark-research.com), is conducting critical studies on shark behavior, ecology, and conservation to protect these vital species and ensure the health of ocean ecosystems.

Located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, Daniel Nicholson is one of the globe’s most prominent professional underwater photographers. He seeks to share the beauty and magic of the underwater world to inspire conservation and change.

May I bring you some joy from the void? I think I've managed to grasp the minimalist touch of techno. If you dig this you better check out my single "Skyrun" found on pretty much all platforms! It's like an intro for this album. And have to thank MojoHeadz for releasing and mastering it!

I was at a mentalhospital once again and there I had the inspiration to produce most of this album. Had the fire in me even though I was suffering, but it might be true that suffering and the void-of-not-feeling gives punch to the music. I hope this is all the worth of those minutes that seemed like hours.

I started every morning there with metalmusic and have to say I'm secretly planning to fusionize that with techno. Don't know how it will turn out but I'm quite hyped for the idea.

Anyways, thanks for paying attention to this, and I command you to dance a bit!
