I started working on the music for this Psalm after Rod Gear from Sons of Korah brought me along to a worship service at a place called 'Breakwater Monastery' probably around 2000 ish.  while I was in the band.  The Monks recited this Psalm of Protection word for word from memory and I was really impacted.  

There are also stories I later heard about soldiers in ww2 who would recite this Psalm everyday as a group and none of them were harmed so the story is told. 

A few years later Matt Jacoby made a few changes and released the new version when I was no longer with the band.  This is the original version- I particularly like the guitar intro in this version that is absent from the Sons of Korah one.  Some of the additional lyrics that Matt added fulfill those I failed to be able to include or thought they were otherwise implied here anyway.  It's been amazing that they have been able to take our music so far and wide right across the globe sharing the inexpressible Spiritual fellowship with our Creator and each other.
