Life is worth living, but most people are distracted by watching others live THEIR lives. Even after a once in a lifetime global lockdown, people would rather see each other through a screen rather than in person. And the vitriolic atmosphere trafficked there, amplified by the shareholders, fueled by anonymity is making us... worse. I don't like it, I don't want it and frankly, we don't need it. The facts are fake, the pictures are fake, the righteousness is performative, and its lost its appeal. There are real people to see, real experiences to have, real chances to take and real love to make. In essence, I just wanna be real. Call me Antisocial. What about you?

It is a good 20 years ago that the diagnosis "testicular cancer" broke into my life like a thunderbolt. For a long time I have been cured of it. Nevertheless the mental and physical scars remain; and the shock, that lingers in my body memory forever over the horrified cry of the young, compassionate doctor when she discovered the tumor in the ultrasound. Time heals many wounds but by no means all. But the time of 20 years gives me enough distance to find words and sounds for what happened in and with me in the first three days after the cancer diagnosis.
