ends today. 

A new myth emerges
from the lonely ashes 
of the past.

Forged by rejections,
betrayals and sorrows,
my immortal heart
opens now fully
summoning the whole world in.

Life’s hard lessons
made it more tender
deepening the wells of Love.

The longing swelled
as I swam unharmed
in seas of sorrow.

Out there 
an island rises
from ancient tides
of hurt -
a New Earth,
where Love 
wears many names
and weds Earth and Sky.
