Finally! The live recording of such a beautiful night/sunrise we spent in Atlixco, Mexico, with the Amores Experience family celebratin Dia de los Muertos in a magic way. So happy to have performed there, the energy was surreal, from the venue, to the people, to the other artists. It's been definitely one of the highlights of my Mexico tour and even my whole year. Music is a bit upbeat, but the context definitely allowed it.

I was lucky enough to capture my short but sweet DJ set at the Dreamland, Weekender on Friday, July, 28th. We had such an unforgettable time all weekend at this intimate friends and family campout/gathering playing music, eating epic food, dancing by the lake, under the moon, stars and in the wilderness!

PillowTalk (Michael Tello DJ Set) Live @ Crew Love Art Basel 2017

Well here we go. Another year and another Sunset Campout and again I was honored to play the closing set to wrap up the best party in the world Sunday on the beach. 
I did this one a little different and started with just some of my favorite slower jams and didn't really do much mixing for the first 30 min or so, but I got going after a few tunes and then it was off to the races. 
This one is bitter sweet as we lost our dear friend/brother/musical compatriot, Navid Izadi, one week to the day after this was recorded. 

This is for him.

This was a fun one. 

It was a magical night at Disco Knights. After all the hard work everyone put in building Disco Knights it was especially special to share this set with so much of my DK family. I am always happy to cast spells with you lot.

Nothing beats playing on that rig. I built this set around things i wanted to play very loud in the Desert and that would push our sound system. Big thanks to Christopher Charles for the engineering and letting me do just that and the sweet ass Mastering job he did on this mix.

Shout out to Jimmy V for setting me up so nicely with that first Jacking House tune. I hit it hard with some acid disco and never looked back.

Shane one (Live @ Disco Knights 2019)

At long last we release the final set of 2019's legendary Tropical Oasis Retreat Maui by legendary DJ and producer Jimpster of Freerange Records, London.

Tropical fell in with Jimpster after his 6 hour set at Tropical Hearts Spring Festival in collaboration with a very young Desert Hearts back in 2013, which created some of our most memorable dance floor moments  (You can find that set deep in our Soundcloud track history in 2 parts).

Jimpster aka Jamie Odell was back to headline Tropical Oasis Retreat in California in 2015, and finally for our best production ever, Tropical Oasis Retreat Maui in March 2019.

Fortunately Tropical took 2020 off from producing events following NYE in Los Angeles, and we all know what came in March.  

Here's to hope for 2021!

These gentlemen are known for their hard work in the studio with releases out on Crew Love, Visionquest, Life & Death, Wolf + Lamb, Circus Company, Kompakt, Bang The Box, D-Edge, and remixes for Groove Armada, Kasper Bjork, DJ Tennis, HVOB, Laid Back, Soul Clap, W+L, Nick Monaco, Frivolous, Midnight Magic, Future Generations, Set Mo and Lonely Boy. With non-stop touring around the world, PillowTalk never ceases to surprise their listeners with classic edits and collaborations with artists such as: Ruede Hagelstein, DJ Tennis, Thugfucker, Deniz Kurtel, Tone Of Arc and Navid Izadi, just to name a few. 

2017 shined its bright light on their release, Black Paradise on Crew Love Records with the Italian duo, LowHeads. They also generated some eclectic, soulful, deep and acid remixes for Nick Monaco, B. Bravo and 2 Block Radius. 2018 is shaped up to be a huge year for the band with the launch of their own imprint, PillowTalk Music. The boys kicked things off with the first release, Hold Me Down, in December of 2017 and have another all original release, Been A Long Time, in February, before releasing All People, the follow up to the classic 2014 album Je Ne Sais Quoi, just in time for summer. About to kick off another worldwide tour in 2019, these boys are at it non-stop. 

The first PillowTalk album is the second highest selling album in Wolf + Lamb history next to Nicolas Jarr and their entire catalogue is constantly heard and found on all online streaming services worldwide. 

PillowTalk’s music is as much a soundtrack to long nights as it is to lazy days —there is something about each of their records that covers the span of living: sun-splashed jams, peak-time party tunes and low-lit moments of intimacy.
