“Runaway” is a Disco hip-hop single that discusses about the feeling of being trapped and fantasising about running away from hardships, as well as provide a gentle method of flirtation to modern female population. Benny Char showcases his diverse ability as a musician by rapping, arranging, composing, producing, and playing the guitar. The song features a South Korean RnB and ballad singer songwriter Minsung Kim. Both have previously worked together on their previous single release “Alright” and “Spotlight”, where it promotes a message about self-care and discusses the topic of depression. 
While the song presents a sympathetic message, the music itself is also very groovy. The bass, guitar, and the beat seeming to be the main source of the groove, Benny Char succeeds to deliver a chill flow in his rap, while complimenting Minsung’s voice.
