This track was commissioned by Red Bull for their 2025 BC One (B-boy/B-girls championship). Hosted in Rio (Brazil), Red Bull wanted something that evokes the 'Baile Funk' energy mixed with latin/funk. For this one in specific I decided to go down the '80's electro' avenue and pull inspiration from 'Afrika Bambaataa's seminal record 'Planet Rock'. 'Baile Funk' is heavily influenced by 'Miami Bass' which in turn takes a lot of it's influence from 'Elektro Funk'.

This set is mostly created with sounds collected from all over the world, in order to add an ethnic feeling to my livesets. 
I did not take time to focus on details or shape the sound too much, so most tracks are yet unfinished and it has a very spontaneous vibe to me. 
Thus I rather consider the set as a "preview" of what might come out soon. Still decided to upload it though, to challenge my terrible lack of musical output;)

This is a raw recording from my sunrise set Lapa Stage, Envision Festival, Costa Rica. 22.02.2020.
Lots of oldies from previous sets in this one, but numerous requests and everything else about this morning has made it one for the books. 
Most of the animal sounds you can hear in the set was recorded up in the jungle where we stayed for a week.
