"'No Crimes' is one of maybe only a couple songs on Lanterns that I began writing before pausing everything to write and record my second album, We Are Rising (http://music.sonluxmusic.com/album/we-are-rising). Read more about that album here (http://www.npr.org/blogs/allsongs/133462581/rpm-challenge/). The song grew out of a small piece of guided improvisation I recorded with my good friend, drummer Darren King. I captured the kit traditionally, using several microphones at once, but then I displaced select mic images in time, offsetting them in rhythmic durations. The song evolved and took many forms, and I even played it live a few times, years before Lanterns." - Ryan Lott

----> Talpa aka. Goran Juric was born on July 22, 1982. The first idea for his project came in November 1999 after attending the big techno/trance party, "TraNSplant 2" at the mega-club 'Paradiso' in Novi Sad, Serbia. Soon after, Goran began producing his own music with the inspiration of Goa Trance! Talpa has released 3 albums, a vast number of EPs & singles, in addition to numerous other releases on compilations - throughout a career spanning over 12 years!!! Talpa's sound is something truly unique and unlike anything else. His music is a funky and mysterious mixture of other worldly sounds, fused together in a totally unique and groovy way. His tracks are seamlessly composed of intertwining and complex melodies, uplifting riffs, dark atmospheres, and deep, funky, percussive grooves. In addition, Goran has a second successful project, "The Riddler" which explores lower BPM sounds - but still maintains his unique touch. These days you can find most of Talpa's releases on his home label, the Serbia based TesseracTstudio.

Biog:
Dj Pi is the brain behind the driving wheel at the front of the Secret Soundcloud bus - he has been mixing beats for over 15 years. Rooted firmly in breaks and drum&bass but always open to spice things up with a little variety.

Finalist in the Movement / Vestax DJ competition two years running, the diversity of his style has attracted recognition in DJ Magazine.

Having supported many of the big names in DnB (Fabio, Randall, Doc Scott, Commix, Hype, Marcus Intalex to name but a few) - he has developed a sensitivity to the mood and energy of a crowd and the skills to build a set, rather than just plonk one record on after another.
