There we were, after months of intense studio time and a series of dj-sets under our joint monniker Musclefarm: our first prime spot on a large stage, at Utrecht’s new Symphonica Electronica Freeze Fest. 

Snug between Âme and Joris Voorn, we knew this was the chance to showcase our sound to a larger audience. We also knew the best way to win over the crowd was to open up to emotional content. In the end, it seemed like the mission was accomplished. Everyone was dancing with a big smile on their face and their hands in the air. Cheers went up as Bronski Beat’s Smalltown Boy marked the end of our two hour journey. We couldn’t have felt happier. 

So here it is, the recording of our set at Symphonica Elektronica. With some contemporary dancefloor ammo by the likes of Dusky, Huxley and Breach. Some all time favorites like Windowlicker, Some Polyphony and Tiefschwarz’ remix of Kinda New. And of course Musclefarm’s very own Jack Of Hearts. We hope the amazing vibe we felt that night in Utrecht somewhat translates to the recording. And we hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.
