Peruvian producer Hanuna continues his amazing year of surprising collaborations with Nyege Nyege-affiliated artists on the upcoming Matraca release 'Balandean'. After the East African excursion earlier this year when he met up with Tanzania's Jay Mitta to explore the frenetic genre of singeli, this time Hanuna heads west on an equally intensive journey to Mali where the balani legend DJ Diaki comes from - together they created both intercontinental and intergenerational EP in which West Africa meets Peru.

There's a new label on the block if you're into global club music and its first release shows that it's already worth keeping a close eye on as Lacuna - founded by @cachai_ie and operating from Dublin - will kick things off with a split EP showcasing two exciting artists from both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. The four-tracker starts with Ripio, a strong name on the Chilean music scene being a half of the Merci & Marco duo and a member of the successful indie pop group chicarica among others, who prepared a smooth reggaeton-driven 'Aterrizaje' to open up the label's catalogue while the second half of the release has been produced by London's @djohoh who has two beautiful EPs for @all-centre-504822953 under his belt. Quite a line up for Lacuna's debut release!

Agua de Rosas is a Chicago/Milwaukee based event and DJ collective formed in 2018. The group specializes in curating alternative Reggaetón parties that highlight and uplift BIPOC, Latine, Femme, and Queer artists from the global club community. Their mission is to celebrate the power and magic of Reggaetón by showcasing its many evolutions and imaginings. Agua de Rosas shapes the Midwest’s latin club scene and links niche and emerging talent closer to home. Its members are resident DJs and artists: Julio Cordova (J. Cordova) Gabriela Riveros (DJ Aguara’i) and Karen Valencia (karennoid).

Entrañas @entranas es un productor y DJ de música electrónica experimental proveniente de la ciudad de Quito (Ecuador). Su arte se distingue por explorar y metamorfosear los ritmos latinoamericanos fusionándolos con ambient, grime y las profundidades del club más sombrío. Esta fusión crea un sonido distintivo que rinde homenaje a su identidad latina y herencia ecuatoriana.

En este exclusivo mix para Plasma Radio, nos sumergimos en casi 30 minutos de tribal y bass. Entrañas nos revela: "en este mix solo hay ritmos quebrados en 6/8 y se escuchan distintas poliritmias que se encuentran en la música latinoamericana y el mundo. Van a sonar tracks de muchos de mis productores favoritxs actualmente junto a unos tracks unreleased mios que combinan la bomba ecuatoriana, el bass y la música club".
