One of the Otographic's key titles in 2014 which has shown the beauty of pure melodic progressive house, Shingo Nakamura's "Days" artist album now sees a diversity of remixes that adds a new taste to the original soundscapes.

This remix package includes 7 remixes from forward-thinking producers in Otographic family, such as Hiroyuki ODA, Nhato, Kyohei Akagawa, KaNa, Masanori Yasuda, and a promising newcomer Oluca. Each remix is stuffed full of their own unique and special approaches, that maximize the potential of elegant melodies in the original tracks. Also, Shingo Nakamura made a rework of "Small Image", which reprises original's atmospheric synth textures with deep house arranging.

Jo is coming off a solid effort in ‘Experience As One’ with Radion6 and the boys are following on from ‘Angel Fly’ with Kaimo K and Sarah Russell.

A sensational Original Mix sets the tone early for this one: expert production values and Jo’s stunning performance. Along for remix duties is Mhammed El Alami who provides his own Uplifting flavour and absolutely nails it!

Lucid

“Lucid” is one of those tracks you’ll likely set your alarm to play off as you wake up in the morning as it fades in with its relaxing tone, and like all progressive hits, stays light enough on the upbeat side that it won’t be too overwhelming.

A New Day

Solid progressive chords fly in and out of the clouds that make up this beautiful composition. Precise sound construction makes this one absolutely delightful.

Erinnerung

Softened square signs hit off beat in this “Erinnerung” that compliment well with the serene drums and chords. Truly what memories would sound like if there were a sound to be associated with such a concept.

Running Away (feat. Jollia)

Layers of synthesized sounds compliment the somewhat sombre sound of the main piano lead, while Jollia graces us with her heaven sent voice to balance things out. Overall, a little on the darker side, but beautiful none the less. 

Above Us

“Above Us” takes us out of the dark clouds above from the previous, and leads us soaring into the stratosphere of sound and sight. Happy chord play takes us on a journey into these euphoric and unknown areas of the sky.

Say Goodbye (feat. Ai Takekawa)

Ai Takekawa is back with us again on “Say Goodbye”, and gives us a gorgeous blend of Japanese and English vocal fusion, that results in an absolutely stunning vocal melody and heart strung lyrics.

Othala

One of the more hard hitting tracks on Nihilum’s album is “Othala”. A tried and true progressive tune, one that really gets the blood pumping and keeps the beat. Perfect for the dance floor.

Clouds

“Clouds” draws sounds from myriad influences worldwide. Utilizing what may sound like the sound of instruments from the far east passing through an electronic filter, combined with the tranquil vocal track present here, is what makes this one really special.

Coming Home

As far as the entirety of this album is concerned, “Coming Home” is well placed, and aptly named. The path of this album comes to a close and this track could not be any more perfect to describe the near descent of the journey that is the album. Truly wonderful.

Alive

Nihilum’s “Alive” closes the loop of this aural journey with a much more uplifting tone after the descent on “Coming Home”. “Alive” shows us that there will always be a new beginning, with every beginning an end of course, as we feel euphoria from the synths striking air on high, and the beat on low driving us to our goals.

Chris Metcalfe & Allen Watts - Bermuda (Preview)

Psy-tech specialist Future Antics returns to Monster Force with another tub thumping tech-laced stomper. After debuting on Force and then following up with (ever so slightly) lighter offering ‘Stargazer’ on Pure, Matt Samuels returns to the dark side with the genre mashing ‘One Three Eight’.

Reminiscent of the old Hard House sound which rocked the clubs of yesteryear, Matt’s original mix is a bouncy, up tempo toe tapper, laced with exuberant fx samples underpinned by an mightily animated bass line and an electrically charged main melody! 

For those who like it a little more straight down the line, Daniel Skyver offers up a full on 138 tech-trance Bratwurst of a remix which is unshakable and just about as dark ’n’ banging as they come!

Marking our 60th release here on Emergent Shores, we are truly proud to finally bring you the fully remixed 'Visions LP' from stand out Emergent Music veteran Andrew Lang.

Having been a true name stay at Emergent Music, as well as our lead audio engineer for our 3 imprints, we were more than honored to showcase Andrew's masterful collection of original productions last year here at Emergent Shores. owner of Pineapple Digital, with over 30 years 
of experience in the music industry and has 
been a professional dj for over 35 years now 
and counting. Dave is one of the few DJ's in 
the world that can play almost every genre of 
dance music effortlessly from the 70's to 
EDM. A turntablist at heart. He is called the 
Master DJ, "the DJ for all DJ's". 

Dave is known for his ecclectic taste in music 
and his mixes which takes the listener to an 
emotional journey that mesmerizes and 
captivates. When he is not busy running his 
label or doing podcasts, he would 
sometimes do in gigs all over the world. 

What sets him apart from other dj's is his 
intensity and knowledge of music that keeps 
peopleglued to the dance floor and what 
makes his live sets unique is he makes 
his own bootleg versions of popular tracks.
