German artist Kim Sorgalla a.k.a. Fortun returns to Elliptical Sun, this time on our rebranded Elliptical Sun Melodies imprint for a smashing new EP.

First off, "I Never Knew Before" debuts on ESM as a soulful, tasteful take on melodic progressive house.  RnB vocals and progressive style chords act as a liaison between the mainstream and dance music realms, producing a song that will surely see radio play around the world.

Up second is a contemporary take on the progressive house sound called "Badabap Showcase". In this tune, we see Fortun layer harmonically strong and expertly engineered arps and pads to generate a beautiful blend of vocal deep house and the ESM style you've come to know and love.

The Midnight, consisting of Danish-born (LA-based) producer Tim McEwan and NYC-based singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle, made their triumphant Silk Music debut earlier this year with "WeMoveForward," an electrifying peak-hour anthem. The single has since been championed by the likes of Chicane and Roger Shah. In recent months, the duo have continued to generate tremendous buzz (including hundreds of thousands of streams on YouTube and Spotify) for their latest self-released singles. As fans anxiously await their debut artist album, we have revived their characteristically 80s-inspired classic "Days Of Thunder," featuring a brand new drum & bass remix by Russian legend PROFF.

The Midnight's original version of "Days Of Thunder" kicks off with a start-your-engines sample, hinting at the titular Tom Cruise-helmed feature film. We are soon met by an uptempo groove and Tyler's thrilling vocal, the first of several verses that lyrically feature a playful conceit, regarding the dark side of love. The euphoric, sing-along chorus is punctuated by an equally emotive saxophone riff, which ultimately enjoys an extended solo. The Midnight's neon-tinged instrumentation and inspired vocal performance coalesce in the form of a sonic masterpiece.

Faced with the daunting task of remixing a superlative track, PROFF demonstrates his enviable artistic versatility by tapping his Soultorque alias; the result is another blissful drum & bass rendering. His composition features adrenalin-fueled beats, which are soothingly offset by lush and tranquil pads and other melodic accents. Tyler's emotive vocal soars above PROFF's simultaneously dance-friendly and introspective arrangement.

Being a true inspiration with his ever surprising music as well as with his always friendly attitude, we once again have the pleasure to bring back the French producer Bob The Groove to our roster. It’s just over a month since he was with us with his release “My Friend From The Stars” that gotten some nice support and recognition from great producers and DJ’s, and we think we have a similar chance here with “Us In Barcelona, a theme inspired with David’s latest travel, to Barcelona. For the original he’s built a great atmosphere with a superb selection of strings, together with the high profile percussion as we always see from him. On top of that, a string of melodic parts is layered up to bring both quality and smartness into his production. It is as stellar as always from him!

On the flipside we see another “Morning Lights Mix” from him, where he delivers another groove and new textures, in this case some small vocal additions from his daughter, that fits perfectly. It has a slightly more melodic and dreamy approach and we in all honesty believe it will be hard for you to miss out on any of these. 

Bob The Groove is definitely an alias to remember, and we can promise you will see even more from him together with us in a not to long spell.

owner of Pineapple Digital, with over 30 years 
of experience in the music industry and has 
been a professional dj for over 35 years now 
and counting. Dave is one of the few DJ's in 
the world that can play almost every genre of 
dance music effortlessly from the 70's to 
EDM. A turntablist at heart. He is called the 
Master DJ, "the DJ for all DJ's". 

Dave is known for his ecclectic taste in music 
and his mixes which takes the listener to an 
emotional journey that mesmerizes and 
captivates. When he is not busy running his 
label or doing podcasts, he would 
sometimes do in gigs all over the world. 

What sets him apart from other dj's is his 
intensity and knowledge of music that keeps 
peopleglued to the dance floor and what 
makes his live sets unique is he makes 
his own bootleg versions of popular tracks.
