Lily, exhausted from a life of social issues and trauma, decides to become a recluse in her garden. After a multi-tournamental heist involving a mean green mother hailing from the Jetblack, an attempt to cause domination over the Great Lilac with her partner in crime, and then their plan being hijacked by a hooded individual in a strange mask, Lily was sold a plant-like alien with a thirst for blood as well as a variety of other strange beings by the hooded sleazebag. While the plants she’s fostering certainly aren’t the most well-meaning, they seem to have taken a liking to the young woman. Will she match the other contestants? Or will she have to return to a life of relationship issues and family drama?

AUDREY II is a mean green mother from outer space, her words, not mine, who has apparently officially taken over her Earth. being a plant hivemind, it's only inevitable that one of her conduit plants would end up in something as anomalous as the jetblack. being that she could only move by duplication, the organizers of PRIZM arranged her agency, THE PLANT GANG, a horde of competitive piranha plants, working as and under their head operative, IVY, the head of the organization. AUDREY II and IVY performed well early on, but got deforested by two industrial opponents. while bitter, they hold no grudge.

lilith is a billionaire scientist and philanthropist dedicated to solving social problems while maintaining a comfortable lifestyle. she's done so much to her childhood home that rather than having lilith move out, her parents moved out to leave her with her space. being away from home for so long is something she's not quite used to. having met many of the people that inhabit the jetblack through a layer of fiction, meeting characters one would only understand as imaginary seems to be a unique situation for her.
lilith hadn't anticipated getting fourth place, only losing the one match. despite her prominent placement and the extensive hiatus, she's been relaxed about the competition and seems content doing her own thing while this whole thing blows over. eventually.
