Malia (DJ Pink Assassin) is an honor student who enjoys math, running track, and music of varying genres.Her interest in the art of being a disc jockey (DJ) and love of music grew as she observed her dad-DJ Scampi during his radio shows and at various events.
  At the age of nine, with the guidance of DJ Scampi, she quickly grasped the concepts of mixing, programing, equipment set-up and business fundamentals.Her journey into the DJ world continued via instructor DJ Noumenon from Scratch Academy, who, after seeing her keep interest in the art form, presented her with the music video game DJ Hero which allows users to create mixes via turntables, add sound effects, cross fading and much more.
  Three and a half years later with thousands of followers, supporters and FaceBook "Live" viewers, DJ Pink Assassin is in demand  and can often be seen showcasing her skills at various parties, carnivals (NY, Baltimore, Philadelphia) weddings and charity events. 
  The name DJ Pink Assassin came about after a guest appearance on a radio programme where she musically, beat for beat and then some, "Assassinated" more established DJs. Her love of the colour pink added the final touch to what would become her stage name.
  She currently holds the easter Jamboree DJ competition winners's title for the second year running and can be heard regularly on Red Apple Radio Station. DJ Pink Assassin extends thanks and appreciation to all her supporters worldwide for their kind words, encouragements and well wishes!
