FERMA012 is up close and personal to the Athenian scene. Label co-runner, Morken unveils a diverse 4-tracker infused with an immersive blend of intricate breakbeats, heavy low end and gritty vocals. Remix duties from two staple personas of the local scene, DJ Problems and Fragedis, who are hitting the spot once more.

DJ Problems is one of the driving forces behind Fade Radio, a community-based radio in Athens that is ever-growing, and has recently launched his own label named Street Fighter Honda with a fantastic VA full of surprises. He is also known for his productions as Bekha Mujiri on labels such as Abstract Reality & Meta Moto.

Fragedis has been a consistent presence for more than 15 years, with releases on legendary labels like Modal Analysis & Pi Electronics among others. He co-runs Healthy Summer, an iconic festival in Sougia, Chania, which has hosted the likes of Delta Funktionen, Alienata, Sawf and ANFS just to name a few.

The fifth Kri release was produced by a New York based producer Richard Gamble, who has appeared on our compilation Trust The Rust and has received the seal of approval on legit labels such as Marguerite Records and Public System Recordings. Dream Sequence EP explores the boundaries between mutated Wave, Minimal Synth, and EBM in search of a perfect loop and the most epic melody. A dim and moisty atmosphere is often cut by a ray of light but you can't be sure if it's just a flashing strobe. Three original tracks command absolute attention on the dancefloor or on the sofa and are accompanied by a Violet Poison remix. Francesco is another Kri acquaintance, who adds some industrial muscles and sends the vocals and the record into a frenzy.

New York techno luminary Adam X debuts on Pinkman with 4 tabs of extra-strength acid specially designed for peak-time club sets.

Opening in typically thunderous fashion, the overdriven kick of A1’s aptly-named Laying It On Thick sets a tone that doesn’t relent for the duration of the record. No-nonsense and straight to the action, Adam X’s distinct approach to crafting dancefloor hits shines throughout as multiple 303 refrains weave through stripped back drum patterns for unforgettably hypnotic results.

While A2’s Trailing Effect drops the tempo a couple of notches, its head-scrambling acid psychedelia would take any bustling dancefloor on a trip long into the early hours. The three remaining tracks give no let-up, fostering a frenetic energy that just can’t be contained.
