Pinku Style Podcast Ep#38 w/ Jake Drift Squid Jones

This was a beat I did a while ago in FL right before I got my MPC 2 years ago... kinda left it undone. All the Key work is done by me pulling live sounds from orchestra music.   Every other beat posted on my profile is MPC magic.. I created this in  all in  FL with a controller but used the MPC to sequence the Korg for the bass and then tracked that info FL and layered it down. I will start doing some original stuff.. will still have that MPC flavor though because that's what I like :)

I have been making instrumentals since late 2004 on and off. I Primarily use a MPC 1000 to sequence on. My instrumentals can be rapped on I guess but they are mainly for video  soundtracks. I listen to all types of music to include Rock,Electronica and Classical. They all influence the sounds of my beats. I played trumpet in a concert band for about 5 years which gave me a bit of experience of reading music and composing. Much of my projects have been started while in Iraq in the middle of a war zone. Music has the ability to take you away from issues in life. Please enjoy my style and listen to the full song! they never finish the way they start.
