The group Pinniped Psyence is a foundation/ cornerstone for a group of Central Florida artist's, who came together for the passion of art, music & philosophy, concerning the modern world. Pinniped keeps the sacred hoop of hip hop culture to heart, & profess their artistic abilities through music, art, & dance w/ a personal expression. Basic, original principles of hip hop/Zulu nation culture, & a concern for the future of the culture is the force that spawned the collective.The main activities for Pinniped are vinyl digging, finding loops, making beats, drawing/painting, attending music shows, scratching/cutting on turntables & freestyle rhyming.                                     The group is the brainchild of AeroLex92, & was manifested (1998) during a scratch session in East Orlando,FL w/ DJ Wes-Matic. The 2  put together mix-tapes of scratching/cutting, & added freestyle rhymes by AeroLex92, in which the tapes would accompany the 2 whenever they drove their vehicles or attended social gatherings. The tapes were heard by a Daytona.FL DJ by the name of DJ Know-Feelings, who liked what he was hearing. This lead Know-Feelings to accompany DJ Wes-Matic, also from Daytona, to East Orlando,FL to meet up w/ AeroLex92. When the 3 met, they immediately bonded and made another tape, this time w/ beats by Wes-Matic, and rhyming by AeroLex92 & Know-Feelings who was renamed "Breth@MosFear ( Breath Atmosphere) by Wes-Matic because of the manner of which he rhymed. From then on, the group became a trio adding other members who they felt captured the essence of the culture. Other members included Krusher Kreel, Shrume DeKat,& J.Funk. Although, the group still stays in contact, they have all moved on, & most of the members have moved out of Florida to pursue other ventures. But, as I said before, this group is a cornerstone/foundation, so the meaning and the essence will always remain intact within the souls of the individuals involved.  Here, is the music that was recorded and archived for a period of about 3 years, and defined the expression of the times as seen through the eyes of the Pinnipeds aka Pinniped Psyence.
